One star because zero isn't an option. We visited this doctor for my wife's breast cancer in March of 2021 and it was not only a terrible experience, but a dangerous one. Where do I begin? He was deceitful, dishonest and looking to make as much money as he could. She wanted cryoablation but, he recommended a chemoemobolization first. Among the many negative issues experienced, he and his team gave my wife too much anesthesia for this first procedure and we wound up not being able to fully revive her. He refused 911 to his building for image reasons, and I had to drive her myself to the local emergency room in a panic thinking I was losing her on the drive. The emergency room thankfully pulled her out of the trauma and she finally became coherent again after 6 hours, but they had to keep her overnight for observation. This was probably one of the most frightening and traumatizing experiences of my life as I thought my wife was dying from propofol and fentanyl poisoning. To boot, we learned later that the procedure he was going to commence on the following day or so, the cryotherapy, should NOT be done within 3 months of the first procedure due to risk of losing the breast from actually freezing the post-operative inflammation! My wife and I are traumatized to this day from the experience we had at this facility and we encourage everyone to beware of attending procedures here and to seek care with a more reputable and knowledgable facility, which this one is DEFINITELY NOT!

So this is going to be a really long review—but believe me, it’s worth your time to read this if you’re considering stem cell therapy as an option for your conditon.
So I had stem cell therapy done exactly 1 week ago, for severe debilitating inflammatory arthritis that started last August (10 months ago). Oddly enough I work in rheumatology, and no matter what treatments we tried—my condition continued to worsen. I had a whole team of rheumatologists looking after me and we got to the point where we were running out of tx options and I was in a wheelchair. Was even seen by the Mayo Clinic and their only answer was to increase the amount of medicines I was on. What I had/have was a very aggressive arthritis that attacked ALL of my joints, including my spine. I Couldn’t work anymore and most of my days were spent in bed.

Towards the end I didn’t think I would be alive much longer as simple things like getting to the toilet, showering, dressing, were still so painful and difficult. I was tired of being a burden on my fiancé. When the pain was really bad—I was suicidal and wanted to end my life and the pain since there seemed to be NO end in sight as the flares would occur every day for hours at a time. I’m only 40 years old—but I had come to the conclusion that maybe this is the end of my life since we had tried everything from a medical and medication standpoint. Life just wasn’t worth living anymore. I was basically a vegetable, in bed all day, wasting my life away. Then comes Dr. Agha Ayad. I found out about him through my cousin, since he helped him overcome a major boxing injury with stem cells. My family and I looked it up, tried to do as much research as possible—and realized that this is something we should definitely spend money on because even if it doesn’t work—well, at least we tried. Now—I’m sitting here 1 week later writing this and…. MY LIFE HAS TOTALLY CHANGED. Already. I’m no longer using the wheelchair for one. I am able to now walk my dogs around the block for the first time in 10 months. I’m able to stand and do some dishes and assist with some cooking without being in terrible pain. I no longer have the severe stifffness in my hands when I wake up, or the stiffness in my spine. I can get up and go now just like before I got sick. The amount of pain that has decreased in my hips and spine is nothing short of miraculous. No side effects from the stem cell treatment except feeling pretty tired on the 3-4th day, and some jaw pain the night I had the procedure which fully resolved in the morning.

Given how big of a turnaround I’ve had, I feel it is my duty now to tell everyone about Dr Agha and how amazing he is. He is very busy—but he is extraordinarily smart—and uses state of the art technology in order to ensure that the stem cells are being injected into the appropriate places (he is an interventional radiologist—so he is well versed with using fluoroscopy which is the Absolute BEST imaging technology you can use for this and much better than ultrasound for these types of injections). Anyway I can go on and on as I work in the medical field myself. Oh and the staff! So wonderful, SO accomodating, and such genuine people all around. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. I didn’t even need any pain medicine in order to endure the injections. The direct joint injections were painful, but do-able. I barely felt the one in my knee. Thank you everyone for your help—god bless you all—and if you’re reading this—you NEED to contact dr Agha’s office now to see if you’d be a candidate for something like this. Good luck and put your money towards this—it is worth it! We all spend money on new cars, houses, etc…instead put your money towards your pain and health. Contacting Dr. Agha was the Best decision I could have ever made.

Update:
It has been 2 months and 1 week since I had the stem cell treatment done. And I can continue to say that Dr. Agha and his team 100% gave me my life back. I feel I’m a walking miracle. THANK YOU

I’m giving Dr Agha, and the entire IYA Medical staff, a 10!
I have personally been treated there, several times within the last year, and a couple other family members have experienced their wonderful care.
The thorough, personal care is nothing but top notch!
Dr Agha is definitely my favorite doc, along with some AMAZING nurses, Tanna, Charlotte, Depa, Kiersten, Jayden, (and those I’m forgetting) … and of course my favorite ultrasound tech, Jenny! She is over the top knowledgeable and also explains so patients understand. I don’t want to forget Nora and her smiling face, who also keeps on top of everything that takes place in the OR! Dr. O… another kind and caring, favorite face to see, as ALL of the staff, is amazing and makes sure everyone understands what is happening and most importantly, 100% comfortable.

If you’ve had an ongoing issue and just want to give up on getting help… talk to Dr Agha! He won’t let you down.
You too, will give IYA Medical, a ten star review!

I went to his office in Prescott once for an ultra sound, I paid my co-pay and I thought all was good. Then, 4 months later I get another bill for some random biopsy that I never had done. It's still too early to know what will transpire but I will edit if they take care of it promptly. Just wanted people to know they need to watch this place.

This is day 7 of me receiving the bogus bill. I have reached out several times in the last week and all I get is the run around from the billing department. The only answer I get is "No, we do not have an update for you, we are still waiting on upper management to respond". Needless to say I will be filing a grievance with my Insurance company about this place.

Update: I filed a grievance with my Insurance, I never heard back from this place about the bogus bill. They totally ghosted me. Anyway, I am assuming my Insurance reach out to them based on the grievance I filed because miracuously this was taken care of and my bogus bill disappeared.
