Do NOT rent from AVR! NOT as advertised. Vans are in horrible condition. I could not close the door so it would latch. Seats ripped, window plastic molding falling off inside the van, dents and windshield cracks. I could not literally drive it off the lot since the side door would not lock. They would not refund my money even though I called right from the lot. NO answer of their phone to help me. No refund even though I didn’t take it. Not a business with good character and beware doing business with AVR.
I had no issues with the car during my trip whatsoever and would have given them 5 stars. Except they charged me an additional $75 after I returned it for "refueling" even though I filled it up to full at a gas station less than one block away. For that, my initial review is 2 stars.
I contacted them and have submitted this complaint. I will happily update it to 4 stars (5 stars for the overall service, -1 star for needing to go through this process) if that $75 is refunded!
EDIT: They refunded me the $75. Changing to 4 stars.
