Ajo Bikes reviews
20Fast Friendly Accurate Service I was helped before immediately upon entry very good amount bikes the store was clean and well organized nice and cool as well definitely a spot I'd take my high end bike there any day of the week thanks again ajo bikes I felt welcome there just like family
Went in to get a chain tensioner for Catrike. I asked for some help/advice on the item and it’s use, ease of install. The two of the employees, Chris and a younger teenager was awesome!
Really encouraging and helpful! They said to come back in if any issues w the install or questions.
Had a great experience with the owner, Brian (I believe that’s his name). There was a miscommunication when I purchased my bike and I was upset. Brian asked what he could do to make things better and he made sure that I left the store happy. I really appreciated that coming from the owner. He’s the definition of great customer service, I kid you not. He makes consumers feel appreciated and that we’re important. I was very happy and satisfied! Not to mention I love my bike! I purchased the Izip brand and I love it! I’m definitely going to continue to recommend Ajo Bikes.
This is my go-to bike shop shop in town. The staff is always helpful, and if they don't have what you want, they will get it for you. Ajo Bikes is THE place in Tucson for recumbents!
Horrible customer service. Was there to buy an electric bike but the sales associate didn't seems like he wanted to be bothered. Ended up leaving 5 minutes after getting there. You should go to pedago bikes on river and Campbell or oro valley bikes, they actually want to sell you a bike and have them ready to let you try them out and explain everything to you. I will never return to ajo bikes.
I totally recommend Ajo Bikes. I rode my bike a lot over the years and the crank and some other parts were worn out. I was going to attempt to replace the worn parts but decided I didn’t want to nor did I have the right tools. I dropped the bike off at Ajo Bikes, they had a back log of work so it took just over a week to get the bike back. I went to pick it up, prepared to see a bill over a hundred dollars, to my amazement the cost was way less than I expected. I got a like new bike for a fraction of the cost of a new bike. The staff were polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I will continue to use the service when I need it, and there is a great availability of parts at a reasonable price. Don’t think about it, if you need a repair, take it to Ajo Bikes! Don Harp
Super knowledgeable & kind humans work here! We were in town for the TBC & was having a shifting issue they fixed! Incredible shop!
My husband I are repeat customers of this locally owned full service bike shop. I recently had a situation where I needed extra help for a very stressful incident. Ajo bikes (Chris, Nick & Brian) went above and beyond to help me. This is a very busy shop but, in my opinion, but I have no problem waiting for help because I know the service will be worth the wait.
Thank you Ajo Bikes!
The owner of this place (Brian N.) really cares about his customers. The store has everything you need. They also work on bikes, which is really nice! The owner also puts on rides around town and gets involved in the Community. Ajo bikes is one of a kind 10 out of 10
This is the second recumbent bike I've bought from this store and they are amazing I'm in love with this bike
Its a complete beast
I took my not so expensive bike in and was so pleased with the job they did. They replaced some bearings and fixed my chain ring and some other small things. The price was exactly what I expected and now my cheap bike rides better than when it was new.
Thank you all
Rick
Was riding The Loop and got a flat, thankfully this shop was open and got me in and out in no time and they were all super helpful and friendly.
Great crew, always able to help! Don’t forget to call before bringing in a Rad Bike as they don’t always have the tubes in stock.
This quite honestly is one of the best, most helpful bike shops.they have machining equipment, a huge variety of bikes including aftermarket rims, bike equipment, the store itself is large and spacious and everyone there is very helpful with a great attitude.would come again.a note on who i believe to be the owner, or manager, i am unsure but he is one of the most helpful people i have dealt with when it comes to bikes, he listens and does everything he can to get you set straight.such a great shop.
They had lots of bike seats to choose from. I finally found a replacement for my old uncomfortable seat. Helpful employees and has more in stock than any other store we've visited recently.
Great, store, knowledgeable, friendly staff! Great selection of bikes for everyone!
Brian the owner is awesome
Went in asking for a seat post release pin. They were very helpful in quickly assisting me and offered options. Didnt end up finding what I was looking for but experience was good.
Being a first time Mountain bike rider I had no idea where to start! Called in and picked Brian N.brain for some time and ended up making the trip from surprise out there and it was well worth it! I couldn't be happier with the service and my purchase here! They've gained a customer for life!
I drove down from Gilbert as I know Ajo has probably the best selection of recumbents in the state. I am considering getting a recumbent trike as my body doesn't work as well as it used to. So, there I was, staring at the inventory on hand and, Brian, the owner, came over and asked if he could help. I explained my situation and Brian showed me a number of different models he thought would be appropriate. (The body may be old but my brain still thinks I am a teenager.) Then, over the next few hours, yes hours, I tried at least a half-dozen of more trikes. Brain hopped on his own and we both circled the parking lot as Brian patiently explained different features.no pressure, excellent information. He then left me alone to sort things out and decide what I liked, etc. I did not buy a bike that day but I can tell you that I have never had a better experience at a shop in my life and I have been to quite a few over the years. I cannot recommend Ajo bikes more highly and, when the time comes to pull the trigger on the deal, I would not think of going anywhere but Ajo. Thanks Brian, thanks Chris!
I'm not happy with their service. I took my bike in for a tune up and when I got it back, I found that they hadn't replaced the bearings in the crank. Also, the brake line broke AFTER they replaced it. When I asked them what they were going to do to fix my problem and they Said that I should bring it to the shop and that they wouldn't charge me full price. Charge me?
I'll never go back to AJO BIKES
