Ajo Veterinary Clinic, Tucson AZ

I was pleasantly surprised that I got an appointment within a day. The Vet, the assistant, and the office help were all very personable and caring. I was seen and put in a room within a few minutes. They treated my dog which included a checkup and testing within an hour. They contacted me the next day to see progress and to go over results. Since I have lived in Tucson, this was the best regular Vet clinic I have been to.

Took my elderly dog in because she had a uterine infection. They wanted to spay her which was ok but they wanted 800.00. I said no and they said they would report me to the sheriff. I took her to another vet and it was 250.00 and she was fine. SHOP AROUND

The staff are wonderful! They are so friendly and really care about their clients and the pets! I would definitely recommend this office.

I just came back from seeing Dr. Sugimoto with my 9 month old special needs puppy. Sadly, the kindest solution for my puppy was to euthanize. I had just lost my sweet old man (17 year old pibble) 9 months ago. Additionally, my partner, who was with me, had one of her dogs euthanized in that very same room we were in. I say this to show that there were so many additional factors that made this harder for us. Because despite all of that, I can not have imagined a better experience given the circumstances. His bedside manner alone is simply amazing. So empathetic, sincere, and caring. Even when there were some difficulties getting the meds to work effectively he remained calm, reassuring, and informative. I don't think I will be taking my furry family members anywhere else from now on.

Kind and considerate. Reasonably priced, straight forward and honest. They consider your finances and don't run a battery of needless tests. I've only been there twice but would have no problem recommending then.

Our golden pup Gracie received good care while under their care to be spade. The staff was very friendly and professional. The Dr was thorough and lovable with our girl. This is not an upscaled office but clean with reasonable fees. I’d certainly recommend this practice. She will return for her annual visit.

We recently took our doberman to Ajo Veterinary Clinic after some health concerns and received a devastating diagnosis. We ended up choosing to put him down and were completely heartbroken. Dr. Mike and the rest of the team were very kind and compassionate, and they gave us as much time as we needed with our pup. Most importantly, they made sure that he felt safe and loved during his last moments. We even received a sympathy card and beautiful flowers a few days later. We really appreciate the attention and care that Ajo Veterinary Clinic provided to our family.

Top notch experience we have been looking for a veteran since ours retired and are so far supper impressed with all the people working here my wife and I have very high standards when it comes to our pets and they have met and exceeded our explanations

We just got a new dog and needed a place close by. So we tried the Ajo Veterinary Clinic. It is a small place but the staff was excellent. From booking our appointment to follow up phone calls after his neutering. They did very good work and the Dr. Was great with the dog. The equipment was modern and clean. Dr took the time to answer all our questions and make sure we knew what was going on. My one complaint would be they are not open on the weekends. That aside I do recommend this place for your vet needs.

It was an okay visit all though the tech was scared of my dog I was there to establish care and /spay neuter The only thing they did was check her heartbeat I would think it could have been a little more professional. $113.00 for a heart beat check and the combo flea tick
med which my dog had no fleas. I just think the technicians need a little more training on how to handle pets and not be scared you would think they work with animals 24/7

I brought my female pup for pododermatitis on her front paws. Always a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean facilty. Highly recommend Ajo Veterinary Clinic

We had to unexpectedly put our cat down at Ajo Veterinary Clinic. They let us take our time and we felt no rush or pressure to leave our baby girls side. They are amazing and sent flower to our home letting us know they were thinking about us! I really appreciate them

This is the by the best Vet in Tucson! Way way way reasonable prices and Dr Callahan and her associates. Lori are amazing! I highly recommend them!

Vet was informative and patient he made sure all our questions were answered and was very thorough.

The employees are all nice and professional. The building is old and outdated but the service makes up for that.
