Alfonso's Mexican Food, Prescott AZ

Amazing quality and quantity! Never been so full from 4 small tacos before- they really filled them up! Service was good and fast. I’ll definitely be back for more taco Tuesday’s!

Easy. To the point. No frills, but most everything you want in a good-food Mexican restaurant. Fluent in both Spanish/English. Lots of good sauces (esp the chipotle and verde). Great portions.

Nice authentic food cooked and presented well, prices are extremely good as is service, not a bustling restaurant so very little atmosphere. But clean and tidy.

We eat Alfonsos every Thursday because they have a great $3 special, which is a bean & cheese burrito. The size is large and very filling. The cashier is very friendly and helpful. The dining area is always clean. Great place to grab a meal.

Shredded Beef Tacos are perfect at this location. Service was a bit slow, and I didn't go in.

This was a nice little place tucked away, but timely.the food was tasty and the salsa was good, and the girl behind the counter was an absolute doll she habla Español Tam bien.but of course she does! It's Mexican food people! Try it you will love it.and the salsa was better than the other places

The NATE BURRITO! Been eating it weekly for about nine years. I'm sure it's taken at least that many years off my projected lifespan but I don't regret it for a second. Exceptional food and very reasonably priced!

Between eating at Alfonso's in Payson Az for 20 years and now Prescott we have NEVER had a bad meal or service. Thank you all!

Wonderful young couple running this place. Food was beyond excellent. We had Carne asada burritos, and carnitas tacos. The home made salsa bar was off the charts, and the customer service couldn't have been better.

I enjoy Alfonso's; it's always a solid option for lunch, and it's right around the corner, which is great. Good service, and I really like their carne asada. Rolled tacos dish with guacamole is a good choice, too.

Excellent food. Very clean. The lady behind the counter never said a word. No, Hello no nothing. Just stood there. But, the food was great.

Wow! So, their breakfast burritos are easily sharable between two grown men. I ordered my own steak burrito, ate maybe 2/3rds of it and was sleepy. Ha! This place was amazing! Highly recommend.

I really love their specials especially the street tacos on Tuesday but I noticed nobody has posted the sheet with the specials list so I'm doing that.

100% Solid Mexican food. Is it the best I've ever had -no. Food alone is 4.25 stars.

But when I need my fix of street tacos real quick or a breakfast burrito I come here versus some of the other spots. It is because they're actually friendly here and go out of their way to be nice and that alone makes them stand out from other restaurants that are rated about the same.
