Alorica Tucson reviews
20Alorica is awesome. I've heard different things but the people on the East side make it a different beast.
Worked at this site for 11 years and I can say the people here are very supportive and extremely helpful! I've worked for several different projects during my time here and we are always given what we need to succeed.
Been here 2 years going on 20. Come find out what it means to be a knight. UPDATE: It's been 3 years now. Still paying my bills. Some people complain about what their job can do for them, but what can you do for your job? I want to build up Tucson and this was my only opportunity to do so. So everyday I make the best of it how I can and learn and develop and grow. I wouldn't mind a bit higher pay. But I feel like at least I have something to build on and to grow with. I'll update next year and we can see how these stars end up
Unprofessional Recruiters and Management. Recruiters only interview to reach quota. They don’t review any information you list in the application and Resume. You fill out the application 3 times, when you apply, after phone interview and on site. That’s RIDICULOUS! 1st Phone interview you verify everything on your application. 2nd interview on site in a room on the phone. So unprofessional. THIS COMPANY DO NO NOT NOT NOT NOT REVIEW APPLICATIONS AND RESUMES. THEY WILL WAIST YOUR TIME. You speak to management and they will try to back up the recruitment team even when they are wrong. People warned me about this company but I tried to give them a chance even though I deserve better. The staff are Liars and Scammers. Waist of time and super unprofessional. Bank of America should reconsider working with this facility. Each and every one of the staff members will reap what they sow I can guarantee you. They are all filled with evil manipulative scamming intentions. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUD.
Horrible place will fire you to save money cause they are doing bad wont give you a reason why they fired you and they going to lose there contract they wont be a company no more karma
Company is Allways hiring do to the attrition.the attrition comes from the company not paying their employees. They want you to work for free
I was hired a couple of years ago at "Christmas time", in fact the picture on the website shows the snow on the mountains that same day the big flakes came down here! I really enjoyed the 2 weeks there and the training class "jolly good" team spirit! And many lonely people need some "comfort& joy", that time of year, especially patience is needed for folks stranded in their cars, freezing in the dark, etc. I think this is a GOOD call center doing a much needed service for others with things that really matter! (I have worked for a couple others that were not, having shut down to move to India and the Philippines, taking American jobs away from their loyal employees.) But Alorica is "patriotic", keeping JOBS here in America and that says a lot about the "character" of mgmt.that they really must care about their people! They deserve credit for that! Well, as I was saying, everyone I met there was very friendly, including.mgmt. It really seems like a job where you can get real satisfaction helping customers in need of a towing or roadside service dispatched, especially with the bad weather and road conditions driving that winter all across the U. S. A. That is what they were doing at that time. (And winter is coming again soon!) The only problem was my hearing -it was going bad at the time and I could not keep up with the class and
trainer because of the disability! I didn't have the $3,000 to $5,000.needed to buy hearing aids at the time and NO insurance yet, my ears were the problem! So despite trying my best to understand her, I could not hear when she was across the large room! So I talked to HR and the trainer, but had to quit and look for another job that could accommodate my handicap, the trainer said she could not talk any louder, that made me very disappointed but I understood. Nevertheless, HR said they were sorry to see me quit (it was my responsibility to get medical help.) That was true. But now that I have them I plan on re-applying as it wasn't their fault. HR dept.lady was very encouraging and understanding! They said they would gladly leave "the door open" for my return, anytime the in future and I feel now is the time, I intend re-applying next week! Let's see if they are willing to give me a second chance as I did resign in "good standing". Hope it's the beginning of a "happily ever after
story" for a long term career and chance for advancement.
I worked there for over a month and got fired for falling asleep but anyways lol. Horrible experience, think I got ptsd from it tbh. Literally every person was beyond disrespectful regardless of status, and it seems like certain people’s job was to make me miserable, literally. At the time my foot was recovering from having two surgeries after a horrible fracture, and I got around using a scooter cause I couldn’t bare any weight on my foot and I had people still trying to physically fight me and even had a manager push a rolling chair at me (among other disgusting things) purposely. I honestly think it’s not a legitimate business, I think people consider that place their home since they acted I was there to visit them and not to make a living. Very dark sided.
No one knows what's going on. Terrible structure, one person says do this another says do that and everyone is wrong. Management can't be bothered to get correct answers so it seems like they are just guessing. They worry more about appearance and fake empathy then the job being done correctly. It's super unorganized and the job could be done by a 13 year old which makes sense since its run like a daycare. Overall if you are looking for a job that will get you somewhere this isn't it. If you just want some easy money till you find a real job or have no goals then this is for you.
Company is not family friendly and you have to work around them even during sudden urgent family matters. Coworkers are awesome though. Management is HORRID!
I am going on 4 years of working for Alorica. I was pregnant when they hired me and no one else would hire me. I love the friendly people there. They were able to work with me. I have stayed with them because I love the atmosphere there and the people there are really friendly. It's my work home. I will continue to work for them because of the environment and the people there. Thank you so much for being there for me when I needed the help. Alorica rocks and is a beautiful place to work for. I would recommend this job to anyone who is looking. There is always someone there for you even when you are afraid to ask or seek help. Thanks Alorica for making me part of the family.
Front desk rarely answers and therefore if you have a family emergency you will not be able to contact your loved one. If you do get in contact, although, your loved one will be punished for having an emergency.
Grate people that make you feel like family and always willing to help out we’re ever they can.
I've worked here for 3yrs and can honestly say I don't hate my job or my boss. These days that's saying a lot.
I went here for a job interview, and sadly, I didn't get the job, but the receptionist was super awesome!
I have worked at 3 call centers and hands down this is the best one! Everyone is so nice and awesome
This is the worst kind of environment possible, training is fun but everything after that is a stressful, unprofessional, convoluted mess, they'll tell you one thing and then do another, they'll tell you "we're a family" and tell you that if you feel sick it's alright to not show up and I know of at least two people who were fired over medical emergencies, people who had been working here for years, if you're looking to work here all I have to say is good luck.
This job came to me when I was at a rough patch in my life and gave me the chance to get back on my feet. Alorica offers amazing insensitives as well as a program Making Lives Better (MLB) that help not only it's employees, but also the community. I had not seen myself working at another call center due the poor stigma they usually get, yet Alorica truly has a great foundation.
Not a bad company when compared to other call centers. Benefits options are OK if a bit expensive and culture is mostly upbeat. Workstations and furniture could use some ergonomic updates.
My experience with Alorica has been more than anything with good vibes and more! A company worth working for, for sure! Great staff and excellent agents (:
