Alta North Central, Phoenix AZ

Great policy on pets, very nice amenities in a luxury building with very spacious apartments. Overall this is a great place to live!

Moved in about a month ago and like it so far. My apartment is very spacious and love the location. Shaila and her office staff are always very professional and extremely helpful.

The building looks beautiful, and the ammenties are amazing (when they're working). The property is managed sompoorly.that it takes forever for any repairs to be completed. The tenants are sloppy and leave trash everywhere. Trash in the hallways every night, the garage is unsafe. Look up the police reports for how many incidents have occurred here. You'll be blown away. Residents stealing from the Urbo market, graffiti spray painted all over the walls of the garage, thefts, break-ins, vandalized cars, and an absentee property manager. Don't move in here. It's horrible! The walls and ceiling are paper thin. You will hear every step a person above you makes. Sounds like they are wearing cement shoes! Garbage!

NO Smoking Rules are NOT ENFORCED by staff, some areas smell of smoke, the A/C in hallways leading to the back rooms get turned off making the hallways hot and humid

Seriously, we love it! Completely blown away by the staff and amenities that Alta North Central offers. Numerous events hosted by staff each month, everything is always kept clean, anddd everyone is always so welcoming!

I love this complex. It is clean smells great and the staff and residents are very friendly and social.

Had to move across the country where I knew nothing and no-one. Did extensive research and landed at Alta. By far the best decision I've made! Move in process from start to finish was seamless. Safety is 10/10. Underground parking. Very pet friendly. And all the
other amenities. WOW. Has everything I could ask for and more! Would highly recommend this place.:)

I moved to PHX from NC in September 2020 which is when I signed my lease at Alta North Central. This is the first time in my adult life that I haven’t moved apartments after 1 year/lease. 3 years later and I’m so happy I made the decision to live here. From the events, amenities, wonderful staff, and all the wonderful people I’ve met here, I’ve had the best few years and excited for what’s to come.

Best place I have ever lived so far. Community has been great in providing all amenities and staff has been very helpful throughout the stay. I would highly recommend to stay at the place.

Great apartment complex with awesome amenities. Love the resident only bar downstairs. Reasonably priced and a great community.

Alta North Central has a great sense of community amongst residents and staff. The property manager, Shaila, does a fantastic job of fostering an inclusive atmosphere.

I’ll start with I love my apartment but community matters and for “luxury” living we should be getting consistency with what’s promised when you sign a lease.
Noise.
The extra fees they pile on top of your rent. The constant threats to tow vehicles unless we use stickers that say what complex we live at. I don’t want that on my car that’s a safety issue. Issues with trash service. The store is not being stocked consistently with snacks or water. The same goes for the water in the gym.
Issues with the office staff… for example my lease.they argue with you and make it a bigger issue- after we signed our lease I had to go down there and show them they overcharged me. They argued through there teeth to later see (after we did math on paper for them) that they were wrong and owed us money. This happened again when they tried to charge us $50 for leaving a bag of trash in the hallway that they opened and sent us a picture of. Our bad yes, but overcharge us $25 only for us to have to show you the emails you put out to the community. This argument went on for days, no apologies that weren’t followed up by excuses. Isn’t Property management supposed to uphold some level of hospitality or professionalism?
I had an issue with one of the other residents harassing my roommate and coming to our door at odd hours of the night- we talked to the office staff who said they would chat with him and the guy comes back twice after. Not sure if the office ever called him because there was never any follow up on their end.

Been living here since October 2021 and everything has been phenomenal - From the amenities, neighborhood, and overall living experience.

The one issue we're running into recently is incidents happening at the hallways. Last night, someone bumped our trash bin and door so hard and loud but we weren't quick enough to open the door and catch who did it. They broke our locks, but maintenance was quick to assist the following afternoon so that's all set.

It might sound costly to install cameras on each floor for every hallway, but it would definitely be a loss for current and future tenants knowing there's that security risk. Especially, since our previous neighbor right next to our unit got their items stolen from the storage room and no assistance could be provided because of the fact that there aren't any cameras in the hallways.

Once management addresses this, Alta North Central would then be deserving of a 5/5 star-rating. This can also help prevent any tenants leaving trash or pet waste in the hallways, as well as any trespassers roaming around.

There is a lot to like about Alta North Central and one very particular thing that I strongly dislike. The Property Manager. The other people who work at the property are terrific and have been helpful and easy to deal with, but the property manager has been laughably weird, spiteful, and all together seems to have allowed the small amount of authority she has here go straight to her head.

I first noticed her when we were new tenants and she was standing outside the office, during the day, having a loud conversation on her cell phone. I thought, this person must live here.no. I learned later, they just act like they do. This person has a habit of Treating the lobby like it's their personal lounge, making it uncomfortable to tenants, and unwelcoming to guest.

Every single interaction I've been forced to have with this person has been off putting, unprofessional, aggressive, and humorously punctuated with spelling and grammatical errors.

I certainly wish the staff here the best, I just think perhaps an oversight was made when selecting the leader for the team. There are clearly better options here. I hope the senior management makes a change at the top so the residents can enjoy the property without being subject to the managers bad behavior, and questionable judgement.

I love Alta North Central. It’s very inviting when I come to provide cleaning service to some of the residents there. The staff is AMAZING and very polite as well great customer service. The leasing manager is very welcoming make you feel great when you walk in. Very great place to live and very decorated, put together very nice and clean as always

This is the best place I’ve ever lived! The team here makes me feel like a family and the amenities are amazing. The apartment itself is beautiful and I’m so happy I found this place! I recommend this spot to anyone looking to move. Great location as well! Shout out to Destinee and the whole team! 5 stars!

Best building I’ve ever lived in by far. So beautiful, incredible amenities, amazing pool, bar, and self serve convenience store, super friendly front desk staff, great maintenance by Jeff. If you have a dog this place is perfect. It has a little dog park.
