American Guard Services, Inc. - Phoenix

I think I'd like to apply with this company. As a grocery store employee I watch these "security guards" get paid great money to play on their phones and daydream all day! What an amazing opportunity, getting paid without actually having to do any work! Where do I sign up! I just watched 2 store employees chase down a man trying to steal another employees bicycle while security sat on a bench and watched. To be clear, he was not on his break.

The security guard at my close to home grocery store for some reason he has a target on me since I been coming at night with my bike. The guard in the evening is rude and loves to start an argument with us. The guard is not very professional wanting to start a fight everytime. I felt scared and now I bring my husband so I can shop. I should not be scared to grocery shop.

I been here 4 days now and it's good place to get experience. The staff is friendly and I really had no issues yet.

Robert Carbonell is the worst manager ever I asked to be moved to a different post because there was a gentleman that they hired me and him had issues at another security company and Robert wouldn't move me and then my site supervisor she would talk s*** about all the guards and Robert never did anything about her that either so I ended up having to quit because I got tired of people talking behind my back so don't ever work for Robert

I applied for this company and was given the frozen shoulder treatment. You think a person with 20+ years experience would get some attention or notice. Sure I've been on the bench since 2000 but only due to medical conditions. After reading the reviews though it sounds like I dodged a HUGE bullet not signing with them. They make Allied Universal look like choirboys

Absolutely horrible company and even worse management. The manager Robert and his henchmen Joseph are incompetent to the highest degree. Their guards either don't show up, sleep on the job, or are high, usually both. Do not hire them, they have lost tucson water, the Land fill, and are about to lose sun tran as well. Only matter of time until Robert runs the company into the ground and does a favor for us all.
