Left me without heat for months. Damaged my house. Continued promises of delivery and no one ever came nor called to tell me. Shameful horrible operating principles. Dropped your service and a local company was out in a week. All of this should be heavily documented as I reached out via phone email twitter and escalated to PR. Tell your list pull person to purge ex customers!

The neighbors next door bought their house at the same time we did. Based upon my recommendation they went with AmeriGas just as we did. You folks came out and filled my tank to 80% full. The tank already had 40 gallons and you added 98 more into a 250 gallon tank. The very next day you came out again and put 120 gallons in the neighbors tank. However, you charged me for it. It took several days with multiple agents and separate phone calls to resolve. Very frustrating and stressful.

I have asked for an estimate to replace my tank with a larger one. Deliveries were missed last winter due to snow and a bigger tank would help. Competitors offer me a free quote. Why not you?

Worst company ever to deal with during covid-19 and well on after, you can not get any help through a customer service representative at all. Plus, everything must be done online only. They say 24/7 online help well that's a lie you can not get a live person ever when needed. Moreover, there live chat and email doesn't work at all. Furthermore they moved to a new address without letting their customers know anything and closed there Flagstaff location. Truthfully they deserve a zero star rating but in order to leave this review I had to give a star. To further this review if there were better options I would take them however amerigas is what we're (STUCK) with. Worst company ever!

Critical to get propane, particularly in winter. I was on auto delivery and depended on you to keep my tank filled, I ordered propane and you never delivered, I had to go in the street and flag down a delivery truck in dead of winter and luckily he had an extra 150 gallons I could get. When you had a local office here your service was good. Not so much anymore, that’s for sure. Bring your call center back from the Philippines.

No, Amerigas has been charging my account for another household gas all winter. Your customer service has not been helpful in resolving this issue.

This time was a great experience. It took forever the last time we got propane. Had to call four times. Was worried we were going to run out. Wondering if we should change companies.

Too long of lead times, not at all the delivery agents fault amerigas has to get its act together. Local companies may be pennies more expensive, but let's just say I can get a delivery in less then a week. Not almost a month.

Been a loyal customer since you opened up in Flagstaff and since closing of the office customer service and the service is terrible - need to open the office backup for the customers. If this continues we will be switching services.

To start the delivery guys were great, but thats where great ends. We are annual payors, we ran out of fuel while away from the house in January then again in March we risked running out. Unsure who is managing their deliveries as we waited 10 days when we called in for an urgent delivery (according to Amerigases urgent criteria on their website), their own system recorded us at 0 in March and we still waited at least two additional days. In March we didnt end up running out. The lady that answers the emergent line after hours was very patronizing assuring us we were just fine even though we were going through a record low, no heat in the house for multiple days, unsure what constitutes an emergency when its snowing, temps are below zero, no heat in the house for two days with temps continuing to drop. I've never been so cold, luckily no pipes burst. I went to target and bought every portable heater they had, it was still 31 in the house. VERY DISAPPOINTED in Amerigas. Am actively looking for a local provider with a link to the community that cares about them. Again, your delivery drivers were great.

Terrible customer service. Made promises that were not kept and customer service reps lied to me which was confirmed by another rep! I went an entire week without propane and I’m on auto delivery!

We paid extra for emergency service. My parents died very recently So we were not getting the alerts and we didn't realize our tank was empty. I have been here for A-day and a 1/2 waiting for them to make a delivery in a freezing cold house because most of our appliances including the heater Run on gas. All day the system said they were delivering by business end we never got a phone call to tell us otherwise. I will miss a 3rd day of work and sleep wearing almost every stitch of clothing I have again tonight. This is a horrible way to treat customers! If I had known they couldn't make it today, I could have been sitting in a warm coffee shop getting my work done. The representative said she could not connect me to the actual store and that she could not guarantee that I will receive a delivery tomorrow.

UPDATE: They did come 1st thing this morning and the delivery driver was fantastic. I wish they had communicated with us better yesterday so I could have prepared better. I would probably use them again because of the quality of service I got today.

The last experience I had with Amerigas was AWEFUL - I ran out of gas - I am supposed to be on an auto-refill plan. It took me multiple calls, many broken delivery promises and lots of frustration. I had to make a special trip to be on-site so the house could be tested for leaks after the gas was refilled and my furnace restarted, else they were going to lock my tank!
None of that would have happened if Amerigas kept up on ensuring customers' tanks are filled.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a service provider of any type. I spent dozens of hours on the phone and was constantly disconnected and had to repeat information over and over and over to people that could not help. I was told lies over and over about when I could expect my propane delivered. All told I was out of propane for 4 days and only solved the problem by flagging down a driver myself.

Yes, My tank was down to 8% and we really cut back on heat along with wearing more clothes. I scheduled for delivery online which showed an expected delivery within 10 days. Severe weather was all around the region, but clear at our desert town. The driver arrived on the 10th day as scheduled which was a relief as we were down to 3%. He said it was tough getting out of Flagstaff going north and dreaded the drive back. And he was very polite and professional. I have been a pre-buy customer for over 30 yrs. Amerigas has been good since they took over, however I sorely miss a local office to go in and do business with and get my 20 lb grill tanks filled.

Awful service. They are constant no shows. If you call you get someone in India. There is absolutely no local support. I switched to Orian Energy. You should too.

I took the advice in the response to this review and called them. Once again I received assurances from the Indian Call Center that someone from the local distribution center would be contacting me.

Two weeks later… crickets.

Total scammers. They are charging a meter reading fee but don't actually come out and check. Then they overestimate my usage and overcharge by 1,300$ the first 3 months of winter. Impossible to get anyone on the phone to do anything to help. Its like being held hostage.
