Ammos Mediterranean Grill, Glendale AZ

I ordered the thin sliced chicken breast and rice dish. Absolutely gross. I believe the chicken is processed and pressed together then sliced. (I truly think it was canned like spam) Fresh chicken breast shreds fall apart, it's not sliced in long pieces. We won't be going back.
Did say it was gross.

The gyros sandwich was one of the best we've had in a long time. Will definitely be going back.

We really like this restaurant! The food is always fresh and hot when served. Service is excellent. It's now our favorite restaurant to visit for date night!

Great little spot. Slightly tucked away is this gem of a Greek place. Everything we had was fantastic. Easily my new goto Gyro spot.
I had the Gyro combo, the pita bread was great, the meat was super tasty. We ordered the combo appetizer, the humas was delicious. The wrapped items were delightful. The tow others ordered the combo plates, chicken Gyro was amazing, nice and tasty, well seasoned and moist. The Chicken Shawarma, simply put, amazing. I'm a traditional Gyro guy, but this was so good I am now tempted to go with it or the chicken Gyro. Also on the list of items, was the Pork Souvlaki is rich in flavor, and quite succulent. You honestly, can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Also very fun fact, ask the owner about his old film business, quite the fascinating tale.

The best Gyros and Mediterranean food in the north valley by far. We love going here, quiet, kind owner and staff, quick service.

I have been going to this place since 2014. Great Food and always amazing service. I usually order from here for my family and it’s the perfect meal. The owner and the the guys are very nice and they make you feel welcome.

Delicious authentic Mediterranean food served up by a U. S. A.loving gentlemen. Delicious falafel, hummus, baba gounoush, pita. FIVE STARS!

For Greek or Mediterranean food, none better. The staff is superb, the restaurant is clean and the food is awesome. I have tried just about everything on the menu and I love it all. If you are hungry, definitely try it. You won’t be disappointed!

Large portions and good tasting food. A bit expensive for the quality, but I would eat here again.

This is the 3 rd time we have been to Ammos and the last. Restaurant was very dirty and unkept. That tells me not very sanitary. Owner seems burned out.

Great food and service. The baba ganoush is really good, as was the chicken shawarma. I will be back for more, as they have a good size menu.

The owners greeting to me was “ are you ordering or picking up “ 1 hour before closing. I replied that I wanted to place an order to go, to which she replied “ im sorry we’re not taking anymore orders today. “ Great way to lose a customer and get a 1 star rating

I always get the chicken shwarma here, and of all the places I've tried in Phoenix this is the top. I get it delivered and even then it's still PIPING hot and fresh when it gets to my door. Hands down best chicken and their tzaziki sauce is the best as well freshly made! I get this at least three times a week and I've never been disappointed.

Clean restaurant. Fresh and delicious Mediterranean food. Awesome owner and staff. Super friendly and courteous. My go to for gyros and chicken shawarma.

Gyro was delicious, my friends had the beef kabobs also said was good. Tzatziki was a bit runny, but other than that everything was great.
