I was a trail walker with Anasazi between fall 1999 and fall 2000. Anasazi did not ask me to write any feedback on this page. I currently work as a psychiatric provider and have nothing but good memories from all levels of my experience at Anasazi. Staff is caring and professional. Management is caring and professional. Nursing staff is caring and professional. Since I have had children of my own, every time I think of this place I contemplate sending my kids on a walk of their own. They are great kids and there is no crisis. But the time on the trail had such an impact on me, personally, I want to give that gift to them. This is a genuinely good project and I wish there were more out there like it.

Anasazi is the best thing that has ever happened to me. My dream is to work there as a trail walker and continue to spread their beautiful philosophy

My brother participated in this program and was able to finally grab hold of the light he was so desperately trying for. He had some issues with addiction and wanted to get away from it, but just couldn't. During Anasazi, he learned how to trust God and how important family is. He came back free from the addiction and happy. It was so good to have my brother back again! My family will forever be grateful for the help of the trail walkers, ridge walkers, counselors and all the staff (it's been a while, so I don't remember all of the names.) that helped my brother free himself and find his way back to the light, God, and his family.

It's sort of impossible for me to put into words how much our experience with Anasazi changed our family. Not only did it help our daughter that went on the trail, but they gave us tools as a family that we didnt even know existed. We love Anasazi and will be having all of our children go experience the Making of a Walking, whether they are struggling or not. We still talk to the Trailwalkers and staff that had such a massive impact on our daughter's experience. We only have positive things to say about our experience with them!

Just as many others have already said, the principles that I learned at Anasazi have changed my life forever. The program is about discovering the Seed of Greatness within each one of us by removing the clutter and business of modern life by returning to simple ways of living and learning. The philosophies taught here are emulated by the staff, and nature serves as the greatest teacher. Parents and youth grow together and turn toward one another by experiencing a mighty change of heart.

Our daughter has been off the trail now for 1 year. She has so many seeds of greatness and is amazing with the skills and knowledge she learned from Anasazi. She busted one of the biggest coals we've seen in 23 seconds just the other day. Thank you again to your organization and all the trail walkers!

It's never too late to make a new beginning. I was a client/young walker at 37 years old. Anasazi is a special program with special people. Through them I was able to find the forgiveness, love, and peace, it takes to make new beginnings. Forever Grateful for the extraordinary staff and people at Anasazi.

ANASAZI is filled with people that sincerely care about the individuals that are involved in the program.

We have nothing but great things to say about our experience with each person at Anasazi. They have a culture of respect, peace, resolution and discovery of one's inner gifts. Both parent and child are well prepared for what to expect. Meeting our daughter on the trail after her time on the mountain will go down as one of the neatest moments of our lives. I continue to use the tools we were taught and try to walk forward with a heart of peace each day. This is a life changing experience. While the trail is not easy, the work and effort is so worth it in the end. We have the utmost respect for this team, mission and corporation. I am Sunrise Glacier.and I have spoken.

I spent a summer and fall working on the trail for Anasazi. It is such an amazing program. Even as an employee, the program, staff and kids changed my heart and life forever.

Two of my adult children have been trail walkers at Anasazi. Their experiences have been life changing for them and being with the young walkers has been something they will never forget. If you have a child in need of returning to their true self, I highly recommend Anasazi. You and they won't regret it!

We sent our son here just over a year ago this week and we are so greatfull to them he now stops and thinks about his choices anasazi just let him work through his issues how he needed and figure how to sustain what he has learned from his walking we could not be more greatfull to them for the love and greatness they have brought out in our son

I went to Anasazi as a "young walker" in 1994 when I was 15 years old. It really helped me gain a sense of my worth as a person and lead me to be aware and accountable for my actions. It also helped me and my parents communicate better. I began to see them as people and not just my parents. I believe it also helped them to see me as a person as well. It didn't "fix" me, I still made choices my parents didn't like, but I reflect back to my time on the trail and everything I learned there often, and it helps me to be a better person.
When I turned 23 I went back as a "trail walker". I worked there for about 2 years and Anasazi changed my life again.
I have since worked at other treatment programs and this one is by far the best!

My sister went through ANASAZI as a Sinagua Walker, and I later became a trailwalker. ANASAZI is a place where imperfect people learn the skills to live at peace with themselves and others in imperfect environments; I’ve learned that first hand as my sister went through the program and as I saw myself change as a member of the staff. I’m a firm believer that if you give 100% you can receive 100%. That being said, it may not be in the way you or your family expect but there can be growth as you walk the ANASAZI way.

The most memorable experience out there for young kids these days! Any adolescent would benefit from ANASAZI - especially those that struggle with anxiety or self doubt

Only true beauty comes from the struggles of life. Through the Anasazi foundation, I have seen more beautiful hearts grow closer to their parents, and parents back to their children. This program grows love and confidence and I as a former trailwalker am proud to have supported it.

I was able to go through this program and it changed my life. Every person who works here cares very deeply about every person they meet and they work hard to make sure we all walk out of there with tools to use to make our lives better. It is absolutely worth every penny and every second of time spent here. It is my most cherished memory and by far the greatest experience of my life so far.
