Charity Andre House reviews
14Free dinner when you're stranded in downtown Phoenix at 5 in the afternoon. I call this place the comedor or the diner.
Some the nicest people I've ever met.
Thank you for your continued dedication, and service to this community
The people are really nice except for a couple of them.most of them actually care about the clients there
Why am I hearing that you let the homeless use this address to get their social security checks and soon to be stimulus checks and you take 25-30% of the checks? That is horrible. They need the money more than you.
Gotta love when it’s says the drive thru is open until midnight but when you pull up to order slightly before 11: 30pm they’re “closed for the night”
Was told to come here when I first moved to az for resources
Almost got mugged on way there turned away and left!
Oh wow. The staff at Andre House is amazing. And the volunteers are great too. They do their very best to help each person. Because we are all different. So they have a variety of ways to help. Dinner is at 5: 30pm 6 days a week. Except Friday. So if you need a hygiene kit, shower, or some clothes, shoes a bag, or a vitamin, or first aide, charge your phone, take a nap, or just to talk to someone. The staff at Andre House. They really do listen and they really do care. Kudos to you Andre House.
This is a homeless shelter And a soup kitchen I was sick this week I had pancreatitis and severe throat infection I wasn't able to work I had no money for food so I shamefully went there for food and They treated me so well I volunteered by services on Tuesday or Wednesday
No money the whole cast campus become what it was before 2005 there. Trying to restore and close it all down no want to see reality no the got asu downtown and building nice things. It prime real estate got to move them back into a closet hide the truth homeless ppl are money makers cops lock them up and the state and private prisons get paid spend more on locking ppl up then getting kids educated dumb ppl make money getting locked up it's a wheel
Not a good place to take your children. Churches tend to have more resources and get a hold of 211 they will redirect you to better assistance if needed. Sunslope also has resources for families please stay bundled up if your living in your car.children tend to loss body heat faster then adults and its flue season. God bless.
We love volunteering at Andre House. We meet great people who become friends. Love interacting with the guests we serve.
Their a God sent.many would starve if they weren't there. I've made some good friends with the staff.
This is a great place to volunteer to prepare the food and serve the less fortunate part of Society. It has been a blessing for me, as I believe that as Christian's, we please God when we reach out to others. There are great people that officiate there and exceptional volunteers. Try it.you'll love it!
Homeless soup kitchen. Toiletries are also available. Shower and laundry service for the poor on some days is available.
