STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Their billing department doesnt know how to do their job, in my case they put a wrong diagnosis so my insurance hasnt covered the bill. They have sent me to collections right away and my credit score went down 94 points. I had an exceptional credit payment and score. They arent willing to even work with you on resolving this issue. They are plainly rude and blame you for everything. My procedure was separated in three different bill from which two were paid except this one. RUN AWAY FROM THEM

I had knee replacement surgery on 4/26/2023. I received statement from my insurance showing that all claims had been paid. I personally received no bills, but in November I was contacted by a collection agency for an unpaid claim. I copied all the insurance paperwork and replied to the collection vultures. Today I received notice that the collections effort had been dropped. Based on the posts from others who had the same experience, I believe that this was obviously an extortion attempt by Anesthesia Partners and I will file complaints with the AG of AZ and the BBB.

Can i give zero stars? We paid over a grand for a procedure at time of service. After insurance was charged we owned 100 dollars. They sent us to a collection agency. Wow. How unprofessional.

I'll add my experience as well. Used anesthesiologist February 2022. Never received a bill other than what the hospital sent, which was promptly paid. It's now, November 2023 (19 months later), I'm taking a look at a credit report, and it says there are two charges from Anesthesia Partners of Arizona in collections since May 2023. Never received a bill or contact from either the anesthesiologist or the collections company. It's like they don't even want their money. I'm willing to pay if they ever thought about telling me about it. I'm not a mind reader. Now I have to do the leg work to go to them and get it all figured out. Maybe that's their billing model. Why spend costs on paper and postage or pay employees to bill their customers when you can just ignore it, send it to collections, and then make the customer come to them to prevent tanking their credit score? Shoddy business practices the whole lot.

Ditto. Slammed into collections without proper notice. Banner (where care was rendered) should not grant privileges to physicians that have deceptive and unfair business, billing, and collection practices. If you want to get the right attention on your issue, notify the hospital or clinic ombudsman where you received your medical care and register a complaint with them. You can also register a complaint with the medical board that licences physicians in the state of Arizona. Consumers do have a voice.

This place is a scam! My claim clearly says my patient portion is $0 and months after my surgery, I received a bill showing I owe over $1000. I sent them my EOB that reflected my portion is $0 and then I get a message that I’m in collections. Clearly, this company has no clue what they are doing and need a more competent staff. You are dealing with peoples healthcare, money and credit score. Do your job better!

It seems I'm not alone. We did not receive a bill for my wife's surgery, until only recently. I paid the bill within 2 days. Immediately my wife got a phone call that the bill was in collections, and now we've received a bill from the collection agency.

What a terrible way to do business!

If i could leave 0 stars I would. I've never received any sort of bill from a surgery I had. Few months later? Slapped with collections. Absolutely nobody can provide me a copy of an actual statement that was sent to me though. Predatory.

Anesthesiologist was fine and I would recommend him. However, I never received a statement for fees dues and was contacted by a collection service 8 months later. I then called the Anesthesia Partners of Arizona telephone number and the attendant was extremely gracious and helpful in processing my payment.

Same as everyone else. Just got a notice from a debt collection agency concerning a balance I never knew I had. I never received a bill from Anesthesia Partners of Arizona. I'll be contacting the Attorney General about this business.

What a joke. I had a my baby on 4/25/23. I have NEVER received a bill from them. EVER. All of a sudden got a collections notice in the mail (currently end of Sept). When I called the Anesthesia office they claim they sent me a bill at the beginning of every month (May-Aug). However this is 100% not true. We paid every bill the moment we got it. Terrible service thinking it’s ok to send to collections when we seriously NEVER received even 1 bill from them!

FYI - I did pay my balance in full with the office directly the day I got the collections notice in.

This company is a complete disgrace in regard to their billing procedures. One year and a half later I am still receiving false balance owed statements from them saying I owe a balance which was paid in full immediately after my daughters procedure. DO NOT believe any past due balance that comes from this company - complete scam. Beware!

How are these people still in business? My insurance should have covered 100% and I get a bill 3 months later fpr 600.00. Look at all these people with cases on here. This is disgusting

Zero stars if I could. Please read reviews because they are all true. If your medical provider states they want to use this company please suggest otherwise. I got my surgery last year in August and received a bill in about March of this year. I immediately started making payments. I even spoke to someone in the office and they said it would be OK. I just received a phone call this morning from a collection agency trying to collect my unpaid balance. I was very dumbfounded because I had been making payments weekly. I called anesthesia partner of Arizona billing department and spoke to a lady who was very rude. She said pretty much that I was lying that she finds it hard to believe anything I am saying. Nobody told me it had to be a certain amount, and that they try to contact me numerous of times. I told her I just spoke to someone a month ago in regards to me making my payments online that I needed an updated code and they went ahead and sent me a new bill. Why didn’t someone at the time tell me that I wasn’t meeting the minimum and why did they let it go for months according to this lady, she called me back in April. I never received not one phone call nor letter in the mail about a minimum payment or that I was going to be sent to collections. I was sent for $130 and I just made a payment last week on my account. Stay far away. Worse company EVER

Make sure to file a dispute to BBB! Over a year after my surgery this magically shows up on my credit report. Not a single phone call, piece of mail, email. Somehow, I had two surgeries and two sets of bills and this is the only company that never sent a bill and sent me directly to collections? I’ve already sent a dispute for my credit report.

This organization has to be investigated! I recently had surgery and got all of my EOBs from my insurance, received bills from every one except the anesthesiologist. After finding out who to contact regarding my bill, I was told it already went to collections. I asked why they never sent a bill and was told they were sent to my old address from 22 years prior. I was told that the information came from the hospital where the surgery was performed which is a total lie! All my other bills came to the correct address, and I guarantee that the proper address was used during the check-in procedure prior to surgery. Upon looking up the Anesthesiologist partnership online, I was shocked to see all the negative reviews from people with the same exact complaints. I'm filing complaints with every medical investigative organization I can find including the local news station until someone looks into this! Something needs to be done.

I was pretty upset when I first called because I received a bill that I thought should be paid by my insurance. Once they explained that my insurance company applied the balance to my deductible and they don't determine how much I pay, my insurance does based on the plan I chose, made perfect sense. I also learned there is no such thing as billing in or out of network, the insurance company processes the claim in or out of network. Billing is the same across the board for everyone. I am happy to have learned this information and I now have a better understanding of insurance and what my EOB says. I ended on a VERY POSITIVE note.
