B E W A R E $$$$$ EXORBITANTLY EXPENSIVE! $$$$$$ Watch your bill go through the roof at this clinic - they get you going and coming - they literally itemize EVERYTHING to drain you of EVERY POSSIBLE CENT! I am truly amazed that I wasn't charged for the air that my pet breathed during his visit. It is almost comical looking over an itemized bill - I have never seen such commitment to billing. Wasn't the whole point behind generic drugs to save money? Think human prescriptions are expensive? Try run of the mill canine pain relievers and sedatives distributed by this clinic! It is OVERLY obvious they are MUCH more attentive to profit and billing than the well being of your pet. We were rushed through every second right up until the bill came. Truly a shame that here again it is all about the almighty dollar. I am just saddened by such greed. ->
NO THIS IS NOT A MISTAKE. THIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW ABOUT THE CLINIC LOCATED NEXT TO BUTTA CAKES ON SCOTTSDALE ROAD AT GRAYHAWK. IT DOES NOT SURPRISE ME, HOWEVER, THAT YOU ATTEMPT TO SHRUG OFF MY REVIEW AS INCORRECTLY PLACED - HEAVEN FORBID YOU OWN UP TO YOUR EXORBITANT PRICING, MISPLACED FOCUS ON MONEYMAKING, and/or HONEST AND ACCURATE (ALBEIT EXTREMELY WORRISOME) CLIENTELE FEEDBACK (the proprietors never even bothered to email me to discuss this matter, they simply write it off as an error on my part).

I began my relationship with my dog during the Covid lockdown when I was alone for the better part of four months. During that time, and to this day, she has become very dear to me. So when I selected the Animal Hospital at Grayhawk to provide her care, it was not without some considerable research. I am very happy with the Veterinarians and staff at Animal Hospital at Grayhawk. They are thorough, professional and very organized. Appointments start on time and the care and compassion shown to by pet is outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in search of a pet care service they can trust.

Drove an hour to get here and they called me as I was pulling into the parking lot to cancel the appointment. She blamed it on someone being new that scheduled the appointment. Surgery is scheduled for Monday and now I need to find someone to give her an echo before then. Only after I expressed my concern since this surgery is an emergency did she send two suggestions. One is booking in January and the other was a fax number. Wasn’t even sincerely apologetic. So frustrated and now in a terrible spot with surgery.

Felt SO much better after meeting with Dr. Kitchen. She took the time to answer all of my questions. Definitely knows and shows her experience in veterinarian medicine. Amazing demeanor and would definitely recommend her to any pet lover looking for a vet.

Our Lab ingested a small bag containing 20 macadamia nuts, which are toxic to dogs. It occurred approx less than 3 hours to our departure to the airport for a flight to the UK. In a panic, we called and the Dr agreed to immediately see and treat our Lab. Treatment was a total success, all the while the Dr came out several times keeping me informed. I greatly appreciated the Dr's compassion and keeping me updated. A worse disaster was adverted due to the rapid medical care given to our Lab. We sincerely appreciate the Dr's rapid, compassionate care.

Literally the best Veterinarian I have ever been to.

My girl, Lola, needed medical attention asap because her heart murmur was causing her to start panting and breathe harder than usual. I was fit in within 12 hours and recommended to a Pet ER just in case she needed care sooner.

My appointment (which included an exam for Lola, X-rays, also for Lola, I total diagnosis, med general exam for her brother Cruz, and me asking ENDLESS questions) was an hour!

The easiest and best vet experience I have ever had. If you can, ask for Dr. McBroom. She explains everything and genuinely cares about the fur babies.

The entire staff is lovely and I am so glad to finally have an EXCELLENT vet for my babies.

I am honestly still in awe about how amazing this animal hospital was during my first visit. I’ve acquired 4 kittens and took them here for their first check up. The staff is extremely friendly, facility is clean, and Dr. McBroom was hands down the best vet interaction I’ve ever had. She knew exactly what to do for my kittens and the pricing was all transparent - no hidden fees. I didn’t feel pressured or guilt tripped into anything and I really appreciate that. I’m excited to come here from now on will my fur babies! They’re open 6 days a week and there’s parking right in front of the facility reserved for patients. 10/10

I am so impressed with the care my little Annie was given by Dr. Kunkel and the techs. Her issues were thoroughly explained to me. I have been to this office plus the one off 56th street and starting with the ladies at the front desk to the entire staff everyone is very helpful and professional.

The Animal Hospital @Grayhawk was able to fit me in with short notice for a critical issue with my dog. They were prompt, professional, and compassionate.

The Veterinarians and staff at Animal Hospital at Grayhawk are great. Always cheerful, courteous and professional. They take the time to listen to your questions and explain the answers so you can decide what's for your pet. I highly recommend them.

We've been taking our pets here for the past 8 years and have always received excellent care. I like that they take the time to explain the situation and our options. They're very upfront with the cost associated with the different approaches and the pros and cons of each. They consistently show genuine care for our pets.

We were visiting from out of state when our beloved dog Ruby became ill. We were able to get her in to be seen at Grayhawk Animal Hospital the same day we called! Dr. Kunkel and her assistant were excellent in caring for Ruby. Dr. Kunkel even went the extra mile to follow-up with a phone call the next day to check on Ruby’s progress. We received excellent care from a very knowledgeable staff and I would highly recommend!
