Really frustrating experience!
We get there before they open and are told to wait without really knowing what is going on. After questioning more we find out we are waiting for golf carts to take us down to the marina. We waited 30 minutes for a golf cart to take us down. We get all checked in and find out we have to pay for gas. I specifically called ahead of time looked on their website to see if gas was included, any extra fees or taxes, etc just so I knew what to expect. I am not a frequent boat renter.
Find out after we waited for 30 minutes, ride the golf carts, do the whole ordeal.that we DO have to pay for gas.
Gas was almost as much as the rental!
We most likely would not have rented the boat if we knew ALL this information ahead of time. Their customer service is sub- par and confusing. I feel tricked and mislead. Please please PLEASE post that gas is not included on your website. There are signs CLEARLY marked once you do the wait for the hold carts and the trek to the marina. So if that's not misleading I don't know what is.
I even told the people working there one of them was a manager and they did not seem to care or even apologize for the miscommunication.
It could have been such a great experience but soiled the experience not knowing all the information ahead of time.
I'm a very optimistic and positive person and never complain about a company. I'm sure they didn't mean to cause any ill intent. Always room for improvement

Would have given 2 stars but the rest of the team was great (golf cart, team on top). All good except for the boat driver with whom you spend 90% of the time.not rude personally but not welcoming either.gave few facts.was on phone few times (not sure.but might be against coast guard rules). Didn’t give any advice on restrooms.: just wanted 3-5 pm tour to be over.might be the reason why this was not sold out (we booked 4 hours before) vs wahweap marina

In short, if you looking for customer service go somewhere else. We rented a two person kayak from them and they gave us no explanation as to how that particular watercraft was designed, i.e. Where the drain plugs are, how to drain the kayak in case it's filled with water inside and etc. Thus, as a result of a faulty cap on a dry container area of the kayak it filled with water inside the hollow area of it and we capsized four times and hurt ourselves badly on the shoreline rocks. We were very scared. When called for assistance they mentioned a $100 fee for a boat to be sent out and showed no concern for our safety and well being. We finally figured out how to empty the water from inside the kayak and headed back. Later we found out due to 13 mph winds on that day the Marina shouldn't have been renting kayaks anyway as such conditions are very dangerous for kayaking. When brought this up to the manager she showed no decency as to how scared we were and the fact that we had a very bad of a experience. In response she simply said "well, you finally made it back. Didn't you? " I don't recommend this place at all.

Staff is friendly and nice. But confusing due to LOW water levels (April). We had to park here and flag down a shuttle guy on a kubota RTV to drive us to the rentals.

My husband and I visited here April of last year. We were really excited to rent kayaks and paddle to Antelope Canyon Creek!

We visited the day before we were going to kayak- just to make sure everything was lined up. We made plans to be there early as we wanted to beat the heat. The staff was not friendly and communication was poor. With the exception of the person who gave us a cart ride to/from the marina to our car.

The day of, we waited for an hour for someone to assist us in getting our life jackets and kayaks- even though we had been instructed to wait for assistance I contemplated just taking it upon myself to get on with it. I walked back and asked the office what was going on and they shrugged it off with “Just wait there, they’ll come”. Eventually someone came and even though he wasn’t necessarily friendly, he gave helpful advice.

Also, I’m glad we had cash for the deposit, that way we get it back immediately after returning the kayaks.

The experience of being on the water, kayaking to Antelope Canyon Creek and hiking through the Canyon was wonderful.

Do NOT kayak to Antelope Canyon Creek unless you have the strength and endurance for it. The waters can be choppy and this only gets worse when boats/jet skis go speeding by.

DO bring water/food, hat/sunglasses/water shoes/sunscreen/towel. (UV Rays are amplified by the reflection of water.) Put these items in a dry sack. Between the heat and getting wet I also recommend covering up in breathable clothing. If you don’t want to hike in your water socks I recommend bringing a pair of socks/shoes to change into. *Remember there is no bathroom along or at Antelope Canyon Creek. *

Amazing experience renting a tandem kayak to paddle into antelope Canyon. We originally wanted to do a lower Canyon tour with the two sister companies Dixie and Ken tours just up the road. But felt $65/person for 1 hour hike a bit steep.

The kayak during off season was $45 for 2 ppl together. We got to see the amazing Canyon at our own pace and had a little picnic on the beach head just off the Marina before coming back.

I don't understand all the low star reviews. Everyone we encountered were super nice and friendly. They give you water bag and life jackets with your rental and the kayak was more than sufficient for the calm waters.

Granted we were there during off season and basically had the Canyon all to our selfs we saw a total of 2 other kayaks during our whole day there.

Just make sure to return the kayak before 3pm otherwise its very steep for late fee. Which they explained before we rented.

Total trip to the end of the Canyon was 8 miles. We did not hike further in as it was muddy and water was too cold in Feb.

Kayaks are sit in with a whole in the middle to vent water. Very stable. People who gave bad reviews might not be familiar with this style of kayak and think it is taking in water

Not a fan of this place to rent kayaks from. Enough said. Other companies were personable and gave more information that was needed. Won't use them again.

We rented kayaks to go out to the lower antelope canyon. They offer hourly/half/full day rentals for kayaks, paddle boards, jet skis and various kind of boats. Good prices and they will show you how everything works and provide maps and directions to things you want to see on the lake. The marina is about 2 miles from the Antelope Canyon.

Not much to do if you have not planned to do boating or staying there overnight in your RV. Boat tours currently closed. The entrance fee is $30

$70 for rv park $30 for entrance fee. Middle of nowhere. I made a reservation for rv parking over the phone and paid $70 for a night but they didn’t tell me that I need to pay extra $30 for the entrance fee. I call them again to cancel my reservation but they closed at 2pm on Wednesday.

Cart service is usually pretty good and quick. My only issue is with the boat maintenance and cleaning crews. They rarely perform service or clean the houseboats correctly or on time, if at all. I wish there were another maintenance/cleaning service available to provide them some competition.

Awful customer service. The three gal employees “running” the store were extremely rude and very unwelcoming. If you go in the store and IF you buy something make sure it fits prior because they won’t exchange it. Expect to feel out of place and receive poor customer service at this establishment.

Beautiful visitor center. Friendly and helpful staff and most of all it’s clean! We can’t wait to come back!
