This RV resort was great. Concrete pads were pretty level. Laundry room open 24/7.
Wi-Fi wasnt great but its expected. Staff was very friendly. Neighbors were quiet and nice. $30 a night.
Close to the commissary and PX. During our stay we saw many deer, javelinas, and beautiful birds. There is a playground for kids and workout area right across the wood line. Overall, great experience and would stay again.

This is our first time staying here, and we will definitely be back. We like the location - not too far from Benson or Tombstone both places we went to while we were staying at the base. Base itself is huge. The manager named john, was very efficient and took great care of us. Even called the day we were checking in to make sure everything was going well with us and that we were able to find it. Our space was very spacious and the connections were excellent. Again, all the neighbors that we met were really helpful and very friendly. That is usually the case when you're at a military RV park I have found. We did not get to the commissary but we'll catch that one on the next trip. The views around the mountains were wonderful. This place gets an 11 out of 10. One small, half surprising thing - I was out the first evening about 7: 30 and it was dark okay no surprise there. I heard a funny snuffling and looked around and about 20 yards away were 10 wild pigs going through the underbrush around some bushes and trees. I understand these are called javelinas, and are common to this area. They were not threatening in any way, and didn't seem to be bothered by the fact that there were people and campers around. I was simply surprised by it is all. Still, was a great great stay and again - we will absolutely come here when we're in this part of the country. Two thumbs up.

This has been the best rv experience we have ever had. The camp is quiet and clean. The hook ups are in great shape and rhe pads are spaced apart. The manager was responsive to our needs. I give this place my highest recommendation!

On our last of 5 days at Apache Flats RV Park at Fort Huachuca. It's probably the best military RV park/campground we've ever been to, and one of the best RV park of any type we've been to. And we've been to a lot. It's absolutely the quietest at night we've been to. Close to Kartchner Caverns, Bisbee, Tombstone and lots of beautiful spots in SE AZ. Plus all the amenities of a busy US Army post.

It’s a nice place. It has cheap monthly rates (Class A RV) and ok phone and internet service. They are stricter then other famcamps but you can’t go wrong by staying there.

This is the best Military RV park we have stayed in so far. Mrs Brenda is the manager and you can't find a nicer lady for the job, she is great and very helpful and friendly. The camp itself is beautiful and very well lighted at night. The pads are big and easily accommodated my 42ft 5th Wheel. The surrounding area of Sierra Vista and Huachuca is gorgeous we can't wait to start exploring, the wildlife is plentiful. This is a perfect location if you want to visit southeast Arizona.

I wish I could give this park and it's staff 6 stars. This is a great military only RV park with spacious lots and full full hook ups. Great base camp near Bisbee, Tombstone, and Coronado National Monument.

Breathtaking views of the Mountains. Clean and spacious sites. Well run facilities, super clean showers, laundry. Will definitely make this a home away from home stop. Thank John and Cathy and staff.

Because most of the reviews here are so high, I feel the need to balance it out. Our dog and several of the other dogs have difficulty walking on the rough road around the camping spots. Although I don’t baby my dog, I had to carry him once in a while. There is a sidewalk that winds across the camp ground and that is smooth cement. There are trails outside of the camp which are better for dogs feet.

We arrived on a Sunday and Monday no one was in the office because she took a day off. Another day, a small camper came in and wanted to camp but Brenda in the office said there were no spots available. That night there were empty spots available in the park. Just a heads up to be sure you have a reservation.

One commentor said that there was no gym, but if you are eligible to stay in this campground, you are probably eligible to use the fully stocked gym on base.

I hope these additional comments help someone.

Been coming since 2006 and I always feel like I'm coming home when I get here. Sites are generous in size and well maintained. On the western edge of main post there's not a lot of traffic during the day and literally none at night. Occasionally some air traffic as you are near the airport. Zero trains. PT in the morning is conducted in a nearby field but isn't excessively noisy. The most noise you will hear is from wildlife. Yep. Coyotes at night sound, and are likely, to be right outside your camper. Birds of all kinds in the morning. And occasionally the park is in the twice daily grazing pattern of the wild turkeys. In addition to all that Javalinas are prevalent when walking on the trails and roads surrounding the park. I love it here.

Excellent large concrete pull-thru spots w patio and picnic tables. Very clean laundry room. Friendly staff and very accommodating to help. I asked about propane and the Mgr, Brenda, personally called a place to ensure I could get propane filled. Beautifully set at the foothills of the mountains.
