Applebee's Grill + Bar, Mesa AZ

Great service and good food. Went for lunch but no more lunch specials. Same menu as dinner. Complain and maybe it will be brought back. Server said a recent popular item was just reinstated that way!

Service was good. Quality of food was terrible! Ordered chicken alfredo, and very dry! Chicken was dry, and hardly any sauce! Sure changed in past few years! We won't be back

My hubby and I had a pretty good meal and the service was pretty good as well. I didn't give 5 stars because my rice was terrible. Like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. But my chicken and hubby's burger was spot on. My dessert was delicious. Mmmmm brownie.

Food was good. We sat at the bar due to space and had good service. All in all good experience since we haven't been to one in quite awhile.

Wasn't as "clean" as I felt it should be. We sat in a booth and I watched how the female employee sprayed and wiped down the table to get it ready for us. She didn't spray nor wipe the entire table and/or around the edges, nor the seats. Food was good, but overly priced. I asked if they could make a salad with salmon vs other meats and it was going to cost me an additional $9.00 to put salmon on the already $11 salad (in other words the cost of the salmon, but without deducting the price of chicken to be placed on it). Ultimately, I did not want a $20 salad. I just ordered the breaded chicken poppers off of the appetizers w/side salad. Too pricey.

The grilled chicken Asian salad has a different sauce on top. Be aware if you order this. It completely changes the taste.

Went back to give this place a 3rd chance but I have no idea WTH is going on. My husband's chicken looked better than mine. My chicken was not grilled in my Classic Chicken Alfredo with broccoli, it looked like they boiled the chicken bits & threw them on the pasta. WHA! I always get this dish but never thought they can mess it up this bad. 1st was perfect, 2nd the sauce was runny as hell, 3rd bland & didn't look appealing. I took it home and grilled my chicken myself. LoL

The female manager (long brown hair, short) did it again; we sat at the bar this time. We were watching the Basketball game along with others & she comes up to try and change the channel on us. She did ask if we were watching it & we all said yes. She didn't look happy about that but You do not change the channel if someone is obviously watching what is on. GAWD!

We got the deal where each person gets an entree and two sides for $29. The food was awesome. Mashed potatoes were cooked just right and the steamed broccoli was what I was really looking forward to. I was not disappointed! The steak, although small, was juicy and tender. It was an all-around great meal!

The prime rib dipper sandwich was great. Baked cheese bun with American cheese melted on the grilled onions covering the tender and flavorfull prime rib! Au jus very rich dipping too! My granddaughter and I both really enjoyed our sandwichs!

Ordered grilled chicken and shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes it was decent. My side kick had chicken tenders and fries with a strawberry lemonade plus we had an appetizer, spinach artichoke dip. Are waitress was great very helpful energetic an kept a smile. Thanks Applebee's

Due to Covid they don’t sing anymore even though they can spread apart and still sing. It was my nana’s birthday and she is the most important person to me. So that really made me upset.

Service was great. Kids pizza I got for my grandson was good sized for a 7yr old. My burger was good even though I wasn't really that hungry.

I’ll start with the positive.really AFFORDABLE Drinks.

That’s honestly it the only thing good to eat here that doesn’t come out dry would be the sizzling skillet plates they have.

They serve the perfect drunk food.honestly don’t go for the taste.

Went a handful of times even brought friends and really hyped the place up and each time I went I got a terrible server with an attitude. Which Was always embarrassing after hyping the place up so much.

Staff always have a great attitude and they have tasty food. Clean seating/table areas. The waitress seemed distracted this time, and the steak was a little undercooked, otherwise it would be a 5 star review!

Great lunch today. A couple of minor miscommunications, but resolved quickly. Our server, Samantha was amazing. Heading back again soon.

Great service and they were great with keeping social distancing people and keeping flow of traffic low. Just don't get the riblets. Gristley and burnt tasting. Not appetizing.

Well its an applebees. The food isn't amazing but you get what you pay for! For a cheap night out its good. Customer service and management was amazing on the other hand!

Open late, very smooth pickup process. Waitress was very nice, I was able to use the restroom while I waited for my order and it was ready when I came out
