ARCO, Quartzsite AZ

Remember exit 19 then north. This is a good stop at about half way on our trips from CA to AZ, Checked current gas prices at a number of Quartzsite gas stations and this one had the lowest price for gasoline. Arco has top tier gas which is what should be used to help keep intake valves clean and it adds to the cost of additives in gasoline so being the lowest price and selling "Top-Tier" makes it even better. This has become our fill up point before entering CA with the highest gas prices in the nation. Windshield cleaning tools were excellent and the buckets of cleaning solution were the cleanest I have seen. It was not crowded and there were more pumps than seen at the Truck Stops. Inside had lots of products including fast food. I noticed a number of reviews commented about the very good pizza to order. I assume they were ordering from the road to have it ready upon arrival. The restrooms were very clean. In conclusion, best gas and gas prices and nothing to complain about. WOW

Card readers at the pumps were not working. We had to go inside and prepay. However, the pump did not dispense gas. Went back. Retried and still not working. They claimed that we did not handle the pump noozle correctly and the transaction was voided (twice). We finally went to the near Chevron station and everything worked just fine.

Card readers broke. Still charging fees for debit. There are other places to give your money to.

I was on the road heading back to Arizona fuel prices in Los Angeles are outrageous $4.85 for a gallon of fuel so as I was driving and I saw this big sign of the ArcoFuel, for $3.99 cash price for Regular, so you've bet your bippy I pulled in and filled up on Arco which I never use cause I've heard for years, just as you have that Arco fuel is sub par. But I had a restored 1978 Sedan de Ville that loved Arco.go figure. I filled that caddy up with Arco Supreme every fill up.

Worst gas station in town, pumps either don't have working credit card readers or they shut off constantly at half a tank. Convenience store inside hardly has any selection

Not willing to enforce masks during height of covid-19. Employees and vendors walking around without masks.additionally a 35-cent debit fee for using a credit card or debit card. Stay away there's other places that you can get gas, and moreover be safe

The cashier is super rude.he needs to have customer service. No reason too be rude your a grown man

We went there for the iced green tea, 1st time it was great, 2nd time they were out, this time so weak it was bad. We tried the steak burrito, did not want the beans or rice, ultimately, too wet. Tender beef, good flavor, and I think with the rice would have controlled the wetness. The pico de gallo was cooked, not a raw mix. Again added to the overall wetness of the burrito. Good size, easily splitable for two, makes up for the cost.

I wouldn't go anywhere else in Quartzsite. They have the cheapest gasoline prices and a spectacular store. Great food in their little kitchen. I thought the prices in the store were cheaper then any other place. The staff is super friendly. It's on the east side of town so it's perfect and conveniently located. It's a truck stop so they have great diesel prices too. One stop for everything you need.

Best place to get gas before going to California. For sure it’s much cheaper than CA gas price.

The cashier is unprofessional and rude. On his personal phone when I walked up to the counter, completed purchase and he didn't say thank you. When I got home I called to speak to his manager, the same cashier that was behind the counter picked up and said he was the manager and he doesn't have to say thank you.
This is where I usually fill up but never again will I spend my money at this ungrateful establishment.

I go down the street to the chevron because I feel that they just Don't like American people. Just my opinion. Only hire in family.

They charge a $0.35 fee to use credit. The other nearby stations do not. They do offer Top Tier fuel.

Good place for deisel but.
Questionable activity on my credit card after using it here caused me to cancel my card. No illigitamite charges were made but it appeared someone was about to use my card number.

On the positive side - Cheap diesel
On the negative side - Inside of the store only takes debit or cash.
SURLY cashier.

Not the cleanest, last time I was through They had 1 bag of ice left and it wasn't cheap. Clerk was not very friendly. Diesel was priced pretty average, my wife used the restroom and said it was disgusting. She said it reminded her of a horror movie complete with a hole in the wall. She thought it was a peep hole lol.

Dont explore here. Restroom reminded me of that scene in desperado. Blissfully unaware punjabi resting behind the counter. Reluctant to use the fountain or ice dispenser, i spent too much on a bottle of soda. Stay close to the gas pumps and everything will be ok. Pee in the desert.

Usually good gas prices, but only accepts cash or debit. The card reader at my pump didn't work so I had to go inside the dirty convenience store to pay.

Service poor. Have had a tough time getting diesel in the truck lanes. Auto lanes are automated and no issues there

Nice gas station to stop on I10 between California and Phoenix AZ. Clean and the staff is friendly. There is only one one gas pump per island, so be prepared for a wait during holiday traffic. Wheelchair accessible and also has convenience store type snacks.
