Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division reviews
16Even if there are alot of people you're not waiting very long. 32 people infront of me took 15 minutes and the lady was very nice. There was a mix up on their end and they took care of it. Now if you're getting a license it's a different story they are not the nicest. But hey each experience varies
I have no idea why they got rid of the chairs! You stand in line and wind your way up to the front. Some people bring their own little chairs. The wait can be tedious. All the employees seem to be very nice.
The line up was half full and it didn't take long to get help. The help was friendly and efficient and answered all of my questions.
System was down for 4 hours. Didn’t take anybody for items requiring processing. What happened to having a paper backup system? Single point of failures aren’t acceptable.
The customer service representative that I got was absolutely great.
If you are going to make an appointment, do it for 8: 30am or later. The morning crew doesn't get on the floor til a little after 8am.
Since I live in two different states I have another DMV to compare Yuma's dept of license to. Arizona is by far the best at getting people through the lines and efficiently handling what ever my needs are when I have to use their services. I've never got in and out of any licensing dept so quick before as I do in Yuma. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable of their jobs. Whether it's home title or auto or even my Arizona ID I never worry how long the lines are because it goes so fast I've never felt using their appointment service was necessary.
They do not make appointments there to transfer a title and you cannot make an appointment online, so you have to go in and WAIT IN LINE.
Coming from California and not having to deal with the DMV the experiance was quite delightful. The office was sufficiently staffed and the wait was minamal. I got my temp.drivers license and car registration the same day. Got my photo license and plates within a week. Koodos
As a California transplant to an Arizona resident. (I know) this DMV is amazingly FAST and very convenient. The people here are very helpful and friendly…. I had a very positive experience
The absolute BEST DMV experience I have ever had after living in 4 different states! Thanks ADOT!
DMV of Yuma Arizona is exceptional. The staff are Professional, Knowledgeable and quick. There was a big walk in line and an appointment line. I will say that they did pretty good getting the people through. I Highly Recommend this place
Really not wait time. I was in, paid my tags and was out within 20 minutes. Very friendly and helpful young lady that's helped me
They have made errors on several different occasions causing loss of time and money. Most of the workers there are unfriendly, impatient and get defensive when asking questions. I have had to educate them on some basic things that they should know. They don't seem to care enough to make changes when errors are presented. They took away the chairs during COVID and now that the pandemic is over, they still make everyone stand. The handicapped line has no system for order of service, walk-ins are served before them even if handicapped patrons arrived prior. They have to yell out "NEXT! " when a window opens. They take an exorbitant amount of time to answer phone calls compared to other AZ DMV locations if they answer at all. They are an embarrassment to our local community how unprofessional they manage the facility. The lack of employee knowledge makes their agency inefficient, wastes patrons time and tax payers money.
Have been here twice since becoming a full time Yuman. Both times we were helped within 10 minutes of entering. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Moving here from Washington state it is a welcomed change.
IN SHORT: ADOT, IS LOSING. ONE, USE TO BE GUIDED BY DISPLAYS AND LIGHTS, BUT NOW, ONE STANDS INLINE AND WAITS, UNTIL ONE OF THE WOMEN YELLS OUT: NEXT IN LINE. NOW, THIS METHOD IS MUCH LONGER.
