There are a lot of really fun interactive exhibits at the Science Center. My daughter, almost 9, had a blast and we spent about 3 hours here. As an adult, I did notice that there were a lot of exhibits out of order and/or poorly maintained, but that didn't seem to bother her at all.

Half the exhibits were broken. We arrived and then shortly after went to the planetarium show which was incredibly unprofessional and seemed thrown together. We were barely able to finish seeing the first floor before they closed at 4. Definitely has a lot of potential but it was kind of a waste of money in my opinion. Needs some work!

After discovering that this science center has reciprocity with our home state science center we checked it out. Certainly was worth the visit. Talk about 4 levels of interactive learning opportunities for the children and adults! So much to see and appreciate here for all ages.

The Science Center would’ve been really cool to visit if half of the interactive things were working. A lot of stuff was inoperative or just didn’t do anything at all. You have to pay for extra exhibits like the animals or the planetarium. The planetarium would have been sooo cool if half the screen wasn’t glitching the entire time we were watching the show. I’d rather go to the Natural History museum or the Children’s Museum across the street (if you have kids). I really hope that they fix up the activities so it’s more enjoyable for everyone. We were all disappointed and the kids were confused why half of the things didn’t work.

We’ve only been here once. I wonder if they have seasonal displays/activities that change year round or if they have some things in there that are constant. Not sure but it was nice, more suited for school aged children or 3 and up, not too much for a toddler or infant as far as entertainment.

FOR CHILDREN ONLY.
Luckily I have kids but I was really bored… this needs to say Childrens Science Museum* there is nothing for adults here it’s all kiddy games and science activities. It was cute for my 2 year old but the one in Illinois I’m used to is a legit science museum. This isn’t.

Major let down. Half the general admission exhibi are broken and yet they've found a way to raise ticket prices and try to charge extra for 'special' exhibits. I highly recommend you do not waste your money.

We love that the science center has an IMAX for super cheap if you are a member! Like $5! And they also have a bed of nails which is so fun to lay on! Across the street is the children’s museum which is super fun too!

This place makes 3 hours with kids fly by. We LOVE this place and they manage to continuously keep us entertained with adjusting the exhibits just enough to keep us coming back. We loved the Balls of Fire experiment. All the employees showed us cool things and had us smiling throughout our whole experience.

Used to LOVE coming here as a child during field trips, etc. Now, while taking my children, it's pretty disappointing seeing the decline of this facility.

For the amount of money you pay with admission and the upsells of other premium activities - you'd think so many exhibits wouldn't be broken, out of order or just plain unresponsive.

Unfortunately, I won't be returning here. I'll give other facilities a chance in the area.

I brought my 4 year old the other day and it was okay. She has some sensory issues so loud sounds really freak her out. I wish there was some sort of warning so I could have prepared her. She wanted to leave after the 2nd floor. Some of the stuff didn’t work and it’s not really meant for her age group it seems. Staff was nice that’s why there are 2 stars instead of 0.

I'm in here right now and haven't left the first floor yet and have run into at least a dozen things that are broken or do not work. Honestly shocked.

Updated: sanitizing wipe buckets across the center were empty and dirty as if they've been empty for a long time. Baby changing tables all out of changing sheets. Not a single exhibit room was fully functional. We had a good time because my kids were too young to know the difference, but man, clearly not enough people employed to maintain functionality of exhibits or keep sanitary items stocked. At $20 for admission for a place that is ONLY open for 5.5 hours a day. They should do much better. Someone get a clipboard and go walk around this place and mark everything that needs to be done, please. I'd never buy a membership here in its current state.

My 7 and 8 year old loved this place. We spent 3 hours here and still didn't see everything. Everything is educational but still really fun. Wasn't crowded at all on a Saturday morning. We'll definitely be coming back here.

One of those places you visit once and never come back. Most of the exhibits haven't been updated in 10+ years and half of them are broken. The science center needs to be updated badly. My family still had fun however. The staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable.

We went there couple years ago and I felt that it was better. You pay a lot for what you get and then you have to pay extra for some exhibitions. The solar system one wasn't working properly anyway. It hasn't changed in couple years so it's time for a change and an upgrade. People starting leaving half way through it. The whole place needs upgrading. Most of the employees were nice. It was sad to see how boring it was today

The science center wasn’t bad but they were way too many rough public school students pushing their way across the exhibits.they needed a little more activities for toddlers and kids up to age 5. I feel like they should have a special time that field trip students come through so that they are not mowing over the other paid guests.it was a little difficult to find the parking garage but once we did parking was easy and it was only three dollars. I gave it three stars because it needed more interactive activities for young children. The security guards were sweet and they were excellent at doing their jobs. The security guards were so nice they even directed people and told them where to go to get safely to the garage.

This was a rough day. Expecting it to be quite amazing as per it being 1 of the 6 top things to do and visit while in Arizona. Apparently the person whom wrote that article had never been to this location or was given special treatment.

We parked at the garage ($15 because no one would validate it), paid extra $26 on top of GA for the space show (45 minutes) which was ok but the equipment was lagging and skipping and out of focus with equipment for the narrator having his mic run out of batteries and their website stating it is a state of the art theater. Even though the narrator said if the chair buttons do not work or your chair doesn’t work, just slide over to the next available one.

Half of the exhibits were out of order or broken with no sign on it. The top floor is a hallway and at the bug station was the only employee that interacted or even realized we were there.

After completing the center in under 2 hours, we headed outside to the Create building where once again no employee was to be found nor any guidance given on what we could or could not do while there. Not even the elderly male white with a name tag in the 3D room that was willing to engage in customer service haha it wasn’t until we were leaving, a younger female with pipe cleaners that looked like insect antennas approached us and said don’t worry I’m not following you or watching over you, this is my job to check on people, as she was watching us walk out and asking if we needing anything. We said no thank you and she went on saying well it’s my job to help. Yet she was nowhere in sight for quite a while.

We went back to the science center for the show and was ready to leave as soon as it was done.

Overpriced vending machines and a gift shop that has less science items than a kiosk at the international or regional airport. Will not be going back nor recommend and definitely not worth the drive or pass.

We went on Saturday, June 25 and could not have had a better time. The staff, including Security, was wonderful and greeted us with smiles. We got in free under the Blue Star (veterans program) and the $20.00 parking lot across the street was, in reality, only $1.00. The activities are well thought out and there are quite a few of them. Cafe was closed. Easy drop off for handicapped. Good air conditioning (109 degrees outside). Thanks so very much to your staff! Great job.

Everything seemed great, kids loved it. We made a trip with the family and kids, and there were some items or things that were ripped and needed to be fixed that could be dangerous to kids if there is no adult supervision. Also, this was the first stop we made that day and our kids got sick, throwing up, and diarrhea. Please have the stations cleaned & sanitized for KIDS SAFETY!

Children really enjoyed it, and there is a lot of learning opportunities built in. Some of the staff could be a little more knowledgeable about what they were demonstrating, but enough hands-on activities to entertain for 2-4 hours.
