Arizona Wilderness Gilbert Brewpub reviews
17This place is a great change from the ordinariness of most bar and grills. Boasting a rustic decor befitting the name there is also a fantastic selection of craft beers brewed on sight. Both flavorful and imaginative brews with locally grown and harvested ingredients makes Arizona Wilderness a set apart from the usual. Add a great and helpful staff and you have a winner. They do have food but this was my first trip and didn't get a chance to sample the cuisine. Have to save something for the next time. Come on down and try something new and fresh.
Amazing drinks, food and service.
Heres the deal.if a patron has a aggressive dog on the patio ask them to leave. Immediately
A broad selection of interesting and flavorful spirits, accompanying burgers of wonderful variety, make this eatery a must visit location in the east valley. I will be returning time and again.
This was my first visit to Arizona Wilderness Brewery. The hostess stand was outside (where we wanted to sit) so I did not see the inside at all. I believe that all of the staff were masked. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and fun to interact with. She gave excellent advice regarding order suggestions.
I ordered the Earth Bowl and it was delicious! I did not add a protein but options are available. I only had iced tea to drink, apparently a special brew, and it was noticeably different/better than your standard restaurant tea.
I have witnessed evening and weekend crowds here, which is something I avoid, but I will definitely keep this on my list for weekday lunches.
My only complaint is a pet peeve of mine - the volume of the music made conversation just a bit difficult.
Overall, a great outing!
We had a wonderful experience at AZ Wilderness. Miguel was our server and did a fantastic job- quick, personable, and checked in the right number of times. Couldn’t have asked for any better service! The food was spectacular as always. The peanut butter and jelly burger is a must try and the Sonoran chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection
Alcohol is on point. Food was a complete dumpster fire. Salad was basically thawing by the time I got it, poutine fries were so salty I could dehydrate a deer carcass and where the heck were the curds man? !? ! If I wanted gravy fries I could have easily went to KFC and Burger King for the same effect and with less salt. No thanks. Y'all need to fire your cook. Service was ok. Tried to explain the food situation but she would leave fast. If you wanna waste your money, this is the place for you.
AZ wilderness is easily a top 5 Arizona brewery. Dirty hop water is usually a mystery but always really good. Shout out to Hope who is really kind and good with large groups.
One of my absolute favorites in the area! Awesome people awesome food. I’ve been here multiple times now but on my first trip I thought it would just be like every other sports bar type deal but when we got there we were greeted by friendly staff and we were sat outside on the huge benches in their outside courtyard which is a very good vibes are. Food is great and you can just taste the quality ingredients. We will go again.
We went in for a bite to eat on seeing the reviews and was kind of disappointed. I thought I was going to get a "wow" being rated 4.7 my burger was a regular burger and my wife's pulled pork tacos had no taste. My son's chicken strip were the best out of everything.
Great atmosphere, SUPER knowledgeable server regarding all of the beers and great conversation as to the general way flavors are produced when making beers.
Food was great and the beer was good. Mixed drinks are a bit over priced for the quantity you get. A margarita in a rocks glass that was either filled to the rim with ice or when she ordered a second one with less ice came back half full. Other than that the staff was nice and the food great.
Great food and drinks!
The service is also awesome!
Thanks Meko for a great dining experience.
I love the dtphx location so much so was really frustrated this location was so terrible. Sigh. Asked for patio seat. Waited 25 mins to be shown to an indoor spot in super crowded space. Said I asked for outside, host disagreed but said we can be “put back on the outside list”. Wait another 10 and are shown to “ledge seating”, which was allllll empty when we arrived btw and still was. Then said this isn’t really acceptable to eat a meal, we asked for a table. Wait another 15 to finally be shown to a proper outdoor table but the poor server was so busy he barely came by. Food was mediocre at best and cold. Sauces charged but delivered when we were almost done. Skip this location and hit up downtown phoenix instead. Better atmosphere, service and food.
Great for a work lunch, many options for seating inside or outside. Always friendly staff and good customer service. The food always satisfies in both taste and quantity. Only feedback is bring back the pork belly sliders on the pretzel bun! Loved those
I freaking love this place! As always fantastic service. Our waiter was attentive and humorous. Food was wonderful I love their poutine fries. And the main event their beer.mmmmm.always great flavors well balanced beer list that always has something new and something old but great! 10 outta 10 will always go again
Always a great experience. We took a patio table, and they made sure it was shady. Taco Tuesday! Great beers and great food
My fiancé & I spent 10 months traveling the US visiting breweries, Arizona Wilderness was our absolute favorite. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They handled the busy night with poise and never seemed flustered or upset. The beers were stunning, I had a pistachio milkshake DIPA, which blew me away. As a cicerone, I judge beers all the time, but what caught my eye about Arizona Wilderness was that they could brew an immaculately clean "to style" beer and then turn around and brew a bizarre but tasty Pistachio milkshake DIPA. This kind of brewing range is rare and their ability as brewers to execute across all the beers was on point. We actually liked it so much, we came back again a few days later!
