We had a HORRIBLE experience here on Christmas Eve 2023. A reservation was made a month prior and when we arrived we were told we had to wait anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours WITH a reservation. There was nowhere to sit or stand and the bar was packed. We stood outside in the cold with several other upset customers who were also very disappointed.
After waiting 45 minutes we were seated and sat in a booth and waited for another 30 minutes before even being greeted. Our drinks did not arrive until after our appetizers and salads were brought to the table. No place settings and bread, we had to ask several times. When the food was finally delivered it was sub par at best. I had eggplant and my boyfriend had the lasagna. The presentation was undesirable to the point of looking like it was just thrown on the plate and smothered in sauce. When we were still eating and finishing our dinner the busser kept coming over and reaching and grabbing for glasses, silverware, plates etc. After waiting all this time we felt rushed and did not enjoy the experience at all. We will not be coming back to this establishment again. It was an extremely disappointing evening and they did nothing but shrug and apologize.

The food is sub-par and very overpriced. Service was slow. Better off eating at Lamp Pizza, which is always great.

Our experience was far from good. We went for Christmas Eve. The place was nice, small but nice. We were very dissapointed with the menu, that was considerably reduced and nothing special for the price. The last straw was that they overcharged us the tip they wanted and that is theft. So, if you want to waste your money for a menu that has nothing but overpriced “rigatoni alla vodka”, make sure you tip in cash, otherwise they will rip you off.

Myself and some company just left this restaurant. The food was really good. However being people of color we felt very unwelcome. When we initially came in while waiting for table we were advised that we did not have to sit in the dining area and could instead sit in the back bar area where the staff was folding napkins. There was no lighting and no other party had been seated in that area. We declined to sit in that area. Once seated our waiter appeared friendly. It became clear that that he was not very Interested in servicing us. While witnessing him check on every other table our water was not refilled once nor did he followup to make sure everything was ok. It was visibly clear that he did not care to engage. We received very smug looks from others in the wait staff. Every table was provided with a canteen to refill water. We were not given one. Very shortly after putting our forks down to converse he swooped in to take out place. In total our entire dining experience was 30 - 45 minutes from sitting down at the table to putting our forks down. While appearing nice this was the most uncomfortable dining experience we have had. As a heavy tipper this is the first time in my life that I did not tip and felt justified doing so. Lastly…. My untensil was dirty. The food was authentic and fresh when coming to the table.

Had an amazing dinner! Gigi, the owner, was lovely and hospitable. She just got out of the kitchen from baking fresh cookies. The wine selection was amazing and the food was incredible. We had escargot, fettuccine, melanzana, and good old-fashioned spaghetti and meatballs Then dessert! Everything was delicious. Can't recommend this restaurant enough. Will definitely going back

Arrivederci Italian Cuisine is a hidden gem in Scottsdale, Arizona, located at 8900 E Pinnacle Peak Rd Ste D1, Scottsdale, AZ 85255. It's a casual dining restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the food is simply delicious.

I've been to Arrivederci several times now, and I've never been disappointed. The menu features a wide variety of Italian dishes, from classics like spaghetti and meatballs and lasagna to more unique options like lobster ravioli and chicken marsala. Everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are simply amazing.

Some of my favorite dishes at Arrivederci include the:

Escargot:  Tender snails cooked in a garlic butter sauce.

Caprese Salad:  Fresh mozzarella,  tomatoes,  and basil drizzled with balsamic vinegar.

Lobster Ravioli:  Lobster ravioli in a brandy saffron sauce.

Chicken Marsala:  Chicken breasts sautéed in a mushroom marsala wine sauce.

Salmone Mostarda:  Salmon with a honey mustard sauce.

No matter what you order, you're sure to enjoy it. The food at Arrivederci is consistently excellent.

In addition to the great food, Arrivederci also has a great wine list and a full bar. The bartenders are happy to help you find the perfect drink to pair with your meal.

The service at Arrivederci is also top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they make sure that you have a great dining experience.

Overall, Arrivederci Italian Cuisine is a fantastic restaurant that I highly recommend. The food is delicious, the wine list is extensive, and the service is excellent. If you're looking for a great Italian meal in Scottsdale, be sure to check out Arrivederci.

I have been here approximately three times and So pleased with the quality of the food and the service. It's quiet and lends itself to a lovely dining experience.

Despite the good food and great service provided by the servers, the manager's unpleasant behavior, including rudeness, grumpiness, and combativeness, has left a negative impression. Therefore, I am giving a low score to the overall experience.

The atmosphere was so nice! Our server had great suggestions and was on top of anything we needed. We had the Vitello Limone Piccata and the Lasagna - both were amazing! I didn’t get a photo, as it smelled too good to wait! And make sure you try the Signature Martini by Gigi. It’s refreshing and delicious!
If you’re up for dessert, the cannoli shells are hand-made daily; I wished we’d ordered 2!
Gigi herself came over to check on our food and us. I appreciate the added attention to our experience. We will definitely be back!

Food is excellent. We always get the caprese ravioli - the sauce is a perfect blend of sweet and zesty. The meatballs have changed I will say the meat isn’t the same - not as good as they used to be. But if you’re looking for authentic Italian this is a great place!

I thought the food I had was quite nice, I had the chicken parm, however others at my table who looked at the menu online were disappointed when the items were not on the in store menu. Also, I wanted a side of fettucine alfredo but they didn't have alfredo sauce. The ladies wanted some champagne or prosecco and they only had 1 split left. The lobster dish was nice but for $50 I felt like it was quite overpriced. Our waiter was great but they need to fix a few things. I think Nick's across the street is a better option for Italian food in the area.

My family and I usually love this place and come at least once a month, we came in at 8: 10 tonight when their hours say they close at 9 for a quick bite. We already knew what we wanted and we’re going to order all our food right upon sitting to make sure we were out of there by 9 for sure. The host nicely said “let me go make sure the kitchen is still open” we then hear a loud “NO WAY. Are you kidding me? ! From a female behind the wall. Feeling super uncomfortable we quickly left as we clearly weren’t wanted nor did they have any interest in serving us. If the hours happened to be irregular today and they were closing early, they could have just nicely told us that and we would have left happily in search for Italian for the night elsewhere. We ended up eating at a pizza restaurant next door called the Lamp that happens to also close at 9 but were super friendly and their food is delish. Our new favorite place up here. Definitely no longer giving this Arrivederci our business unfortunately.

Our party of four went to this "place" on Sunday for dinner. We were greeted by the rudest hostess. She was so nasty and unprofessional. Because of her and the way that we were treated, we will never go back nor will we ever recommend this to anyone! I recommend the restaurant by the same name on Thunderbird!
