We went as a group with a reservation, and some were done right away while others waited. The ones that got started late were finished at the same time and charged the same amount! We won't go back here.

We went in at 8: 15pm thinking we could do something quickas I have been here in the past. I was turned away this time because we did not have a reservation and she said it was too late. I checked the hours and they are open till 9pm. We were the only ones in the place.
Went on to the website saw that we were able to make a reservation for another night at 8: 30pm. Just sound like we were not valued.
As a business owner, one knows the value of our customers, but it was not taught to this young girl.

My daughter and I went to make Father's day gifts. We had fun but the Customer Service was blah. I feel the employees don't take pride in your work. The bowl I made had a spot on it from another piece of pottery. I was shocked to see and that they hadn't seen it. I told one of the workers that they should have seen the issue and fixed it before I had come to pick up the first time. And a phone call letting me know of the issue. No quality control. I had to go three times to pick up the pottery because I was given wrong information. The spot on the bowl was sort of fixed. It kind of messed up my dad's gift. I felt a little disrepected after spending $70 bucks and two hours working on the bowl to only have it messed up by carelessness. The second time I went to pick up the bowl, I was told I would get a phone call letting me know it was done and I had to call them. Employees need to be more respectful and have pride in their work. It was a very frustrating experience.

Me and my 6 year old daughter had a Mommy/Daughter date and came to As You Wish. It was our very first time there. We were so excited. We picked out our mugs and painted them. I was told to come back in 3 days to pick them up. 3 days later we came to pick them up. I walked up to the register and a young girl was behind the front counter. I told her I was picking up 2 mugs and I handed her my receipt and I started to tell her what the mugs looked like, and she interrupted me to help people that just walked in the door. She didn't just greet them, she was helping them and completely ignored me and my daughter. After she finished helping them, she came back over to me. I told her that what she did was very rude and she rolled her eyes at me. I didn't even get an apology. She then told me that my mugs weren't ready and I needed to come back. She didn't even offer to call me when they were ready. I asked her what her name was and with an attitude, she flung her hair out of the way of her name tag and told me her name was Karla. Several hours later, we returned to pick up our mugs and another employee helped me. She was unable to find our mugs so called the manager up. The manager named Lawrence came up to help me. She found 1 of the mugs then went to the back and then came back up front to tell me the other mug wasn't ready because 1 of the kilns was down and I need to come back another day to pick up the other mug. I paid over $60 during our visit and was treated like we didn't even matter. I live over 20 minutes away and now having to come back to pick up the other mug, is a complete inconvenience. They had my phone number 3 days ago, why wasn't I informed that they weren't ready on the day and time they told me? The lack of professionalism of several employees is reason enough to not return. It's unfortunate, because there were a few employees that were quite pleasant.

We come here as a family to do one thing: paint. Mother's Day - I see employees wearing name tags with their pronouns on them and a pink headed girl asking people to call her they/them. And when my children ask - I have to explain this ridiculousness to them? It's absurd and a sure fire way to make sure my family and I don't ever return. I'll just go to Burst of Butterflies in Chandler.

This place is amazing. Perfect for a family outing. Even better on a rainy day.

The staff is great. They walk you around and show you where everything is. Also, they are more than willing to give tips on how to make your project a success. They make sure there are plenty of items to paint. Shelves are full of different size items so you have plenty of variety. The paint is all labeled and put in the correct place so the colors are easy to find.

All painted items must go through the kiln or burner so you can't take your pottery home the same day you paint them. I think it took our 3-4 days for pick up.

All and all this is a great time for a date night or to bring your family. Enjoy

The staff is super kind and helpful. I've never done pottery before, but I plan to do some more in the future because of having such a great first-time experience.
