Took them 8 months to approve my yard, but my recycle bin gets left out one day and I get a notice.

I live in the Pueblo Seco community in Mesa. One might expect that a monthly HOA fee of $260 would buy plenty of excellent customer service. One would be wrong to expect that. Granted, I believe it's the HOA Board that sets that fee.

The few times over the past six years that I've dealt with AAM (Chandler office) my main point of contact has been Tina Karriker. Tina has been professional and polite when I've communicated with her. Unfortunately, as a previous reviewer speculated about the Chandler office, it seems like they are spread WAY too thin, as she can be very difficult to reach.

Case in point: On June 30th I requested that AAM contact the City of Mesa on my behalf to arrange for a bulk item pick up, as is Mesa's policy. This request was fulfilled only today, September 9th. And I'm only referring to the scheduling not the pickup. And this was only done because I involved a number of AAM Vice Presidents and Area Managers. I have no reason to believe that this ever would have been dealt with at all had I not gone higher and gotten in touch with Tina's manager Danielle Brackemeyer.

The bottom line is for $260 per month I had to wait 10 weeks, send almost as many emails, and go over the OFFICE MANAGER's head for a single phone call to be made.

As residents of the Encanterra Country Club, we appreciate the service and responsiveness of Wendy Blauvelt, our Community Manager. Wendy has been professional, friendly and responsive in all interactions involving not only our home, but also the adjoining walkway. It is our pleasure to work with Wendy.

During my time isolating myself, I had received a letter from AAM, LLC claiming I had a vehicle parked in front of my home and that it is not allowed, so I was going to be charged a fee. I was somewhat nervous because I was two weeks late answering since I didn't go that often to my mailbox. I filled out the form online on their website explaining that I hadn't parked my cars and no one visited me during this time. Promptly I received an answer explaining that I was not going to be fined. This was a relief to know I wasn't getting a fine for responding late. I found them to be professional, especially since I could respond with a form online, and they answered promptly.

AAM manages the HOA for my community in Mesa. They appear to be stretched too thin because they take forever to respond to an email or phone call- if they respond at all. The facebook group for our HOA has had nothing but bad experiences with these guys. The most recent case is how the community pool got locked (the deadbolt that only management has the key for) about three days ago, and everybody has been calling and leaving voicemails (AAM doesn't answer the phone, only let it go straight to voicemail), and nobody has heard back. I emailed them two or three days ago, and finally got a response back yesterday afternoon, but the response was "we're working on it" which isn't very promising or helpful. I just checked this morning again, and it is still locked. This wouldn't be as big a deal if there wasn't a heat wave going through right now and all the kids want to go swimming. If this company is too busy to drive over and fix their mistake by unlocking the pool, then I can't imagine anybody wanting to sign a new account with them. If I was planning on staying in this community for a longer term (planning on moving out in a couple months) I'd definitely be pushing the board for a new management company.

As a first time home buyer over a year ago, I really hope this is not what I have to look forward to with other HOA organizations in the future. AAM's customer service is disappointing, the reps talk to you like you are a random person on the street. For the amount of money we may, you would expect very basic customer service skills, and this is from the bottom up. Emails go unanswered (even after 3 follow ups), excuses are made, and ultimately I feel like talking to them about anything at this point is pointless, as they are always on the defense.

HOA does nothing to keep anything up and running. They work for the homeowners not the other way around. I would like to request to start fining the HOA for their neglect. I just drove through mission royal active community and it was horrible. The golf course looks abandoned. All that money where does it go. You have one weed or something different about your house and they are quick to fine you. You guys need to step it up and stop taking money away from us free Americans. You guys have changed nothing to make anything better. We need to stand up and take back control!

Terrible doug hausworth is a complete idiot who has no business being involved in property management let alone paying 95$ a month for HOA and they dont even take care of the landscaping ie: plants are dead, parts of the grass is patching and dead due to not upkeeping im curious where my money is going.

Our community (Southshore village) had been forced to pick AAM after builder left the community. Their online payment system is totally non functional to say the least. Also their customer service is rude and non responsive. Our community manager (Phyllis) was out of the office half the time hence could not be reached when needed the most. Also community manager was interested in charging fees and not in helping home owner. Our community has recently fired them due to lot of complaints from Home owners. It has been terrible experience having AAM as our HOA management company. I strongly recommend to stay away from AAM.

We have had AAM as our HOA management partner for over 15 years. The level of expertise and follow through by the company is second to none. Our community manager Rahul Bhatt has shown us with his knowledge and commitment to us that we are truly a community of excellence. I would highly recommend this management company to any communities in need of a excellent results driven HOA management company. Randy Sevilla President Ashley Heights HOA

Typical East Valley management company, BOD required to stay on top of the property manager or things won't get done!

Rahul Bhatt has been a great manager for our Community. He has been very attentive to all of the communities needs. Rahul is quick to communicate and take action in times of need. Being in the industry myself I highly recommend Rahul and AAM as a professional Property Manager and Management Company.

This company manages my community in Chandler. They have been allowing a nearly two foot fish, which has been floating on the surface for nearly two weeks, to slowly rot and die. It is quite sad and disturbing. I have contacted them multiple times with no resolution. I have photos of me able to measure the fish from inches away and others of me able to reach down and easily touch it. Clearly, it is QUITE elusive.

Lisa Pelech in the Chandler location is the most professional and the most friendliest person that I have ever encountered working with a management company. I can see why this company has so many great reviews; with people like Lisa, success is an easy target!

They are quick to respond to any concerns, and listen thoroughly without judgment. I've only had positive dealings with them.
