Autoworks, Lake Havasu City AZ

Just need to give big thanks to James at Autoworks. I live in CA and drive out to Havasu often. We have had to use Autoworks a few times in the past and again this week so we could get home. He always make time to service our car and get us back on the road ASAP. They do good quick work, if possible, and at a very reasonalbe cost. I always tell him when I leave the shop that "I'll be back. " And I will again when I needed. Thanks again for the excellent work and service.

Went in to get my timing belt change and James and his team went over the moon for me! Even explained and showed me a video what it’s supposed to look like and how bad mine was. Also shoutout to the Technician that repaired that took the extra time and care to fix the plastic cover. I Highly recommend these guys.

I went to another local shop to have my brake pads done. I received an outrageous quote.so I thought let me check another shop for pricing. I called Auto works and the owner quoted me half of what the other business was charging saving me half of what the other shop quoted. Auto works had my breaks done next day, and saved me $400. Very honest, fair, fast, and quality service. Highly recommend this family owned local business.

If you look/act like someone that doesn’t know about mechanics he WILL take advantage of you. He is the sleazy mechanic of your nightmares so if you do decide to go here for his cheap prices, be on your guard.
He pulls the same brake and oil change scam on several women I know. And when his larger repairs fail and you return asking him to fix it he will throw a tantrum and refuse services, even when the work was done under warranty.

Incredible customer service! James did a last minute inspection on our car which was leaking oil. He was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. Without his help, we wouldn’t have been able to make our scheduled road trip. Appreciate his honestly and going above and beyond to make sure the vehicle was safe to drive.

Most honest and reliable mechanic in town. James will diagnose the issue and doesn’t try and up sell you parts you don’t need. Highly recommended!

I have used autoworks many times, it is very hard to find a fair honest auto mechanic, he always stands by his work, which shows integrity, which is rare in this business. Thanks for the awesome work guys!

James is very rude, petty, and doesn’t know how to accept an apology. I accidentally left leftovers in the trunk and he practically berated me about it once I came to the shop to pick up my car. He also complained about having to remove other items including my baby’s Christmas presents from the trunk. I understand it was very smelly and gross, but it was also an accident and I was very apologetic. I tried to explain that I didn’t know they’d have to go into the trunk so I didn’t think it’d be an issue. My mother then came in to cover the cost of the service I received (I will be paying her back, I just didn’t have $1400 saved at the time) and he continued to complain about my mistake to her. He let her know that he left my leftovers in the trunk so that I could smell it… He made me very uncomfortable and upset and I will never go back no matter how cheap his work is compared to other repair shops. Not to mention my steering wheel cover is now filthy and smelly like mechanic hands. And my air conditioner smells like someone soaked the filter in motor oil. Horrible customer service.

James is the BEST! I went to him for a broken soft top latch. He came out and fixed it - without charging me. Turns out it was just stuck. As stupid as I was, he NEVER belittled me for my stupidity or for wasting his time! Not only was he very professional, he was also very KIND!

Really honest. He will tell you what you need fixed now and what can wait. First mechanic in this town I trust.

I believe in angels. My car broke down in this lovely town and I met James, his wife and (kid?). James got my car fixed in no time and got me back on the road like sparkling new. My AC broke down and my fuel pump conqued out at once? Thank you James. You guys are not human, you're angels

Used autoworks many times over the years. Always professional and stand behind there work. Honest and fair which is hard to come by in this town. There constant generous donations for our community speaks volumes for their character and work ethic. Highly recommend
