The shop is clean and professional. The artists are great people that really make the tattoo experience comfortable and relaxing. They answered all my questions and help me understand placement that worked with my vision, style, and body. They've done previous work for me and I drove from Minnesota to start a new piece with them. I look forward to coming back to finish.

K-ta was presented with a big idea that had to merge the new tattoo with a previous tattoo and a cover up of another tattoo while doing a partial leg sleeve to bring my vision to life. She did an amazing job with the first session of a multiple session project. I apperciated the cleanliness of the shop as well as the friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in getting a tattoo, especially by people who will listen to what you want and bring that vision to life.

K-Ta was awesome! She pierced my 15 year old daughter’s nose today and did my tattoo. She was excellent with my daughter and was thorough sans honest about my tattoo. My tattoo was simple but she did a great job. I’ll definitely be back.

This place is amazing. I have been getting my work done there since 2019. All of my tattoos but 1 have been done at AZ Tattoo Asylum. K-Ta is amazing with piercings, colored tattoos and just black lined tattoos. I have never had any problems when I am healing and this place is very clean and professional. I always feel welcome when I go in.

Great work, one off tattoo's. Professionals with years of experience. Had my leg half sleeved, gets compliments everywhere I go. Highly recommend.

This is a good place to go to get tattooed at, it was quick and although I have no tolerance for pain Hanalei helped distract me a little, asked how I was feeling often & used numbing spray which helped a lot. The numbing spray made it 10x better, would highly recommend to anyone else like me.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Hands down have the best artists and amazing custom service. Hanalei and his wife (the owners) have become family to me over the last 3 1/2 yrs I’ve been coming to the shop. I’ve gotten most of my body tattooed and I’m picky about who tattoos me. I won’t go anywhere else but AZ TATTOO ASYLUM. They are the best tattoo artist in ARIZONA! I’ve gotten a full tribal arm sleeve done free handed by Hanalei and about to get a complete leg sleeve next week! Do not waste your money or time going else where they get the job done right the first time. Cannot thankyou guys enough.

My names Malik and I’ve been getting tattooed for a few years now and have been to a few shops. The experience I had a AZTattooAzylum was top notch, the shop and artists are amazing. It was clean, well lit and Hanalie is amazing his Polynesian tattoo skill is amazing and yet his ability to do everything else is just amazing. I will continue to be a patron here and recommend them to anyone looking for ink!

If I could give this place more stars I would! Every single one of these artists are amazing at what they do and take the time to make you the perfect tattoo! Hanalei was my artist and he did amazing with my full sleeve. He is honest and tells you when your skin truly needs a break. His wife is also amazing. I have not gotten a piece done by her but the line work and colorful tattoos she creates are breathtaking! I will only ever go to this establishment for my future tattoos! If you want Hawaiian tribal’s tattoos, you need to see Hanalei. He is a natural tattoo artist and amazing tattoo artist. My tattoo experience with him were amazing and keep coming back! Highly recommended! He is the man for tattoos!

Hanalei is one of the most talented tattoo artists in AZ. He has done Polynesian tribal tattoos as well as varying other pieces such as floral, and realistic. I will be coming to him each time I want to get a new piece done.
