Working in a law firm means receiving too many calls to handle. Betties helps tremendously with handling this issue, and every employee that I've had contact with has been extremely polite and lovely to speak to.

Back Office Betties Company is world class. They are extremely professional, accommodating and follow instructions very well. We have never experienced any serious issues, and they perform their job very well. Every one of them is personable, friendly and they take their job very seriously. We have friendly chats and ask how our days are going! The Betties have truly made it easier to manage our calls with our clients and potential clients. My law firm has been using BOB as our answering service for several years now. They're dependable and consistent. I really appreciate that the owner, Emily, is heavily involved in the business and invests in herself via peer mentorship and coaching programs. I know that because we have mutual friends in those groups, but you can also see that the business is constantly evolving and growing. It's been a pleasure to be a customer and watch them adapt to the needs of their clients.

Our law firm started with Back Office Betties last month and we have been delighted by their reception services. Their work handling our intakes and calls has helped us better triage cases and eliminated calls not being answered during off times or when someone was at mediation or otherwise unable to answer.

The Betties are fantastic! We are a very small law firm, and their services have been invaluable. They are always professional and courteous, and our clients tell us that they have no idea the person is not in office until they come to the office for the first time. I cannot recommend them enough!

I LOVE Back Office Betties! As a solo-practitioner, my time is so so valuable. I love that I never worry about whether my phone is answered. I also felt it was important that all of my clients speak to a live person when they call, which happens with Betties. The receptionists are exceptionally friendly, thorough, and professional. I also really love how innovative and client-focused the company is. I have used quite a few other answering services, and this is my favorite.

I have used a number of answering services over the years, but this is by far the worst experience I have had. Calls are not answered. Clients complain over and over about the phone ringing and ringing with no one picking up. The staff member answering the calls often lacks the most basic knowledge and understanding about our business to ask the right questions and handle the calls correctly. Messages that I do receive are often so garbled that I cannot even understand what the prospect his calling about. And perhaps worst of all, they do not own their mistakes. Instead of fixing problems, they try to placate you with hollow apologies and are thoroughly unavailable when things go wrong and you need to communicate with them. This outfit has cost me money and made our firm look bad to clients.

The owners has framed their response to this review to create the misimpression that there was one isolated occurrence. This is misleading and inaccurate. I would not have written this review if my recent experience was merely an isolated occurrence. The problems I described are, in fact, chronic and have gone on for over a year. Other recent reviews, including the one from jon jon, corroborate that other clients of this vendor have experienced the very same problems as did we. It is also disingenuous for this vendor to call attention to my reaction to their ineptitude, without explaining what precipitated the reaction (i.e, their lack of care, competence and ownership when it mattered most) and without owning that my reaction only came after months and months of complaining to the company about their service and having nothing improve. You cannot treat customers this way and expect them to just shut and get walked on.

In short, if you need competent, available people to handle the front line for your calls - calls that you have paid hard-earned marketing dollars to generate - I would strongly encourage you to look somewhere else.

I used BOB for my family law practice in Texas - as a solo practitioner being in court takes up most of my days. I have always used an answering service for my firm from the day I going back almost 15 years. Some are better than others, some are more expensive than others. I switched to Back Office Betties after seeing their ads everywhere online after being reassured by their staff that my calls would be handled more efficiently and effectively then my current service. I tried - for about 60 days, then I finally said "Uncle". After numerous attempts to rectify problems I was having with my account I went back to my previous service with my tails in between in my legs. BOB says they are focused on legal only. I beg to differ. Their staff are under-qualified, incompetent, short-staffed and their pricing is above the rates of other leading answering services, they have a "no hold guarantee" that is bologna. Yes they wont put a client on hold once the call is picked up, but when it takes a company 6 minutes to pick up a call how could you? My marketing team recorded and listened to every call and not one was picked up in less than 2 minutes. I lost multiple leads that hung up before a call was ever answered by them. This never happened at my previous service. I was assured they were experiencing staffing shortages and it would be temporary. Hence the 60 days I stuck with them and gave them a chance. Multiple intakes performed incorrectly, call backs not made, I did not receive some of messages even though I have the recording, hold time was ridiculously long. Nevertheless, I am back with my old service and I am very happy. Do yourself a favor and don't always think the grass is greener on the other side. Seems like most services are having issues these days.

Really spectacular service. Back Office Betties has been great for us - they handle the phone professionally, so much so that our callers assume they're right at the reception desk. But really, our staff is freed up to be more productive! And the service is remarkably versatile, allowing me to choose whether I'm an guy or a mobile one. Really the best service of its kind I've ever used.

I have used Back Office Betties ("the Betties") for a couple of months. I am happy to say that their service is a life saver for anyone running a small business. The setup was easy, and would have been easier if I already used a scheduler to book appointments. After I set that up, the Betties confirmed my office hours, sent me a recording of the greeting, and gave me some pointers. What REALLY sold me on them was this: I have been a manager/employer for a long time and I always challenged my employees to answer the phone with a frown, but sound like they're having the best day ever (Hint: it's IMPOSSIBLE). The Betties ALWAYS answer my calls with a smile. Sean, who is my account coordinator, is always there for me if I need anything, and the small group of assistants who call in to me are both personable and professional.

I also love sending the Betties an email to have them schedule a client. It is so convenient to ask them to book somebody, saving me time while presenting a professional experience. I really can't say enough about the quality of their service.

The pricing structure also can't be beat. They don't charge you for spam or quick calls and they bill by the second rather than rounding to full minutes.

They can complete forms that work with my intake and client management system and have a mobile site for on-the-fly call management, which is really handy!

I can't say enough about Back Office Betties.

Sean has consistently followed up with me to ensure my satisfaction with the services and strives to give a phenomenal customer experience. Rates are reasonable and this is one invoice I am happy to pay when I hear of my client's experience with Betties.

I’m at a small law firm and we have been using Betties for 18 months. They are extremely professional and it’s just like they are in my office. I love that they can schedule appointments and start the onboarding process. They have a great communications platform and are easy to work with. I highly recommend them.
