Baggin's Gourmet Sandwiches on Oracle, Tucson AZ

Absolutely the worse experience I’ve ever had. Danielle is the most unhelpful manager there. Daniella informed me that online orders are not as important as the rush that came in 45 minutes after you placed the order. She also let me know that she didn’t care that I was waiting another 15 minutes for the order to still be prepared as people who came in after I was in the store got their orders. And to top it all off the order I received was completely wrong. And even better they couldn’t be reached on the phone to do anything about it because they were to busy to “monitor the phones. ” Extremely disappointing in the lack of understanding and willingness to make things right when clearly the service was far below expectations.

It’s now been over a week that I provided the additional information they asked for. But I have yet to receive a response of any kind and I am still waiting for my refund. This horrible experience keeps getting worse. I would expect the Vice President of the company to have done something to fix the issue by now since he’s the one who emailed me. It really would be nice to get my money back for the order I never received.

The sandwiches are great and freshly made to order if you like. My favorite is the veggie with sprouts baconread andrr avocado on sourdough bread. The prices are very reasonable too.

I was craving soup and a sandwich and decided to give this place a try since I don't live too far. I placed an order online for the unforgettable wholesome half with chips and a drink, a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup, and the carrot cake. I went to pick up at my chosen time, and it was chaotic. I stood in front of the registers ignored for 5 mins, and then when I was finally asked if I could be helped, they hadn't even started my order. So they rushed a bag to me and I left. Got to my car and checked, no sandwhich. Had to go back inside with the chaos, and the young lady was waiting there with the sandwich. So they knew I didn't have my sandwich, but no one took the initiative to bring it out to me. Terrible. The food was good but not worth the chaos and for $23.00. Also, check out the bowl of soup in the picture for $6.50. Not even full. They also were not the friendliest at all. All of the food I ordered was crammed into a greasy torn brown paper bag.

No Soup for You!
Baggin's has been a staple for decades serving up the best sandwiches in Tucson. So much admiration for Beggin's I joined the team back when I was in high school.

Baggin's has always had that "our way or no way" kind of attitude. No Soup for You! If you try to order by phone. "No Soup for you! " Want to process an order as a guest online. "No Soup for You! " Some of us are on the move and have busy lives. To simply call in, stop by and grab a brown bag is efficient. Taking the time to download an app and then create an account was tedious. Baggin's customer interface online or through the app is lacking, and has been for years. The experience can be frustrating when you are on the move. Then there is the minimum 30 ASAP option. 30 minutes is not ASAP. Arriving at the location and not having order on file and then have to show Manager my confirmation email with the correct location adds the the frustration. Don't get me started about my past delivery experiences.

From time of desire to have Baggin's for lunch to receiving my brown bag was over an hour. I even had time to write this review.

I wish Chris would open more Sausage Deli locations.

Just called to order lunch and was told they no longer accept phone orders, now have to order online or through their app.
I’m a native a Tucsonan who’s eaten at Baggin’s for decades, that has come to an end now that they are requiring me to use tech to order my food. Not okay and I’ll never order from Baggin’s again, not even as a walk-in.

I’ve loved baggins for so long, today after 20 minutes of placing my order I waited 30 minutes, I ordered an unforgettable and had no sprouts and only 1 slice of ham. I miss the old sandwich.

Placed my order at 1: 45 for a 20 min 2: 05 pickup. They didn’t even start my order until 2: 20.

I never write reviews but today really got to me. I went in at 1: 14 on my lunch break to order a sandwich. It took 40 minutes to get it, I had already had to text my client to come in later and didn’t even eat my sandwich. I had gotten up to say something just as it was being given to me, so my coworker went over just to let manager “Mari? ” Know. And she was completely rude and not accepting any responsibility. To wait 40 mins for a $12 sandwich is kind of ridiculous. I didn’t have a chance to say something since I had a client waiting for me at work, but it’s totally unacceptable and rude to just ignore the situation, any good and decent manager would help their employees catch up on orders and at least say sorry.

Careful ordering from a delivery service at this location. This is the 2nd time they didn't give the driver the full order. So disappointing.

Baggins has fabulous sandwiches and salad bowls along with their complimentary yummy chocolate chip cookies.

I just ordered an Anasazi Chicken Sandwich for lunch. Sandwich was delicious until I was chewing and felt hair in my mouth holding my bite of chicken together. It was a long piece of hair cook between the grilled chicken and melted provolone cheese. Sad but I'm disgusted by the thought at eating here ever again. No hair in the cookie tho.

Great sandwiches and service. One of my favorite places. They have the best tuna sandwiches in Tucson.

Excellent as always. It's been 18 months since we last had Baggin's because we live in the White Mountains.

The flavors were exactly as we remembered and it did not disappoint.

The staff is very nice.

Always tastey but they seem to have changed the amount of turkey on the unforgettable. The sandwich was very slim compared to what was a normal portion. Overheard another patron complain about the same thing, but she took hers back and let them know.
