Banner Payson Medical Center

I went there saying I was positive with Covid. The front lady was very rude and didn't want to treat me.

The team here is amazing! I recently gave birth to my beautiful baby girl on July 25th and even though I am extremely grateful everything turned out okay in the end I had a very traumatic labor. I almost died, lost a lot of blood due to complications with child birth and my c section. Dr Murphy and his team saved my life! I wouldn't be here today being able to experience being a first time mom if it was for them. They all were and still are amazing! Through the surgery and after. The team made sure to really listen to me and help me and my husband with anything we needed specially my husband. During the visit I unfortunately couldn't care for my baby like a normal mother and a lot of the care fell onto my husband and the nurses made sure to help us both as much as they could while also taking care of me as well. They were all attentive and caring. Even with small things like which arm you would prefer to be poked. They even had amazing advice for this first time momma. They all were so encouraging as well making sure I stayed positive. Really really amazing staff and doctors here. I left a review for Dr Murphy personally under his own page because he needed his own he truly is such an amazing doctor I don't ever want anyone else. This hospital is amazing all around and the cafeteria staff was amazing as well and did this super adorable congrats dinner on our last day there it was the sweetest thing ever! I am SO glad I trusted this hospital with me and my baby girls life because they did not disappoint and over exceeded everything and saved my life! Thank you so much! I wish I could do more then some words and a review because they deserve so much!

Labor and delivery nurses are incredible. Truly an amazing group of women no matter the shift. Forever grateful to have had these women throughout the labor/delivery process.

I would just like it to be known that if you have no family and are alone in the world, this hospital will deny you care. They are glad to pronounce policy to you, but not to work out a
compromise that will give you the care you need.

I broke my leg on a trail west of Payson. One of the EMT's suggested I get airlifted to Flagstaff because they were better than Banner at Payson. I could not disagree more. The staff at Payson made me feel like I was the only one there, Attentive, warm and professional is the way I'd describe the staff. My broken leg below the knee is known as a spiral break, the fibula and tibia broke all the way through, it was ugly. Dr Evans was my surgeon and he was great before, during and after surgery. Overall, a five star experience!

Dr. Munion was great awesome during our visit. Got us evaluated treated and home super fast. The nurses were great and. Dry compassionate. Everything was explained well!

The Labor & Delivery nurses here at Banner Hospital were absolutely amazing. I honestly wish I had enough words to express my thanks to them for their care and professionalism and knowledge. My husband and I said over and over again how amazing they were and we felt so blessed to be under their care. My delivery with my 2nd went far better than my first, and I know that is largely due to Dr. Murphy and the nurses. Thank you so much!

Don’t ever think they will call you back, they won’t. More than a 30 minute wait time to schedule a procedure if you can get through and you can’t go to the banner hospital to schedule an appointment. Total waste of time and energy. I have cirrhosis of the liver and they could care less to get you in.

My 88 year old grandfather was admitted for a mini stroke. This hospital has cared for him and treated him like family. All of the staff I have met have been wonderful. Out of all the hospitals I’ve seen and been in, this one is the best. If you or a family member needs medical care, I would 100% recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone. Thanks for all that you do.
