Banner Urgent Care, Gilbert AZ

I wish I could give 0 stars! I was ignored by my doctor; he didn't even listen to my lungs and said it was costochondritis. I ended up in the ER days later with a severe case of pleurisy; my coworkers AND managers all were scared that I was a heart attack at 29 years old. My ER team was appalled that I was so disregarded by this urgent care doctor. I will never be returning to this location, which I only picked because they were the 5th called and only ones with an xray tech working that day.

This was my second time using this facility, this time for myself. Same sentiment as a year ago… The Staff is courteous, kind, and quick. The facility is exceptionally clean. Definitely recommend! It’s not the closest facility to our home, but I don’t mind the extra miles knowing it’s a great experience.

Prompt. Professional and friendly staff. Clean and welcome environment. I would definitely recommend this place! The staff were so wonderful with my toddler, as well!? We had a reserved appointment for my son today, and they allowed all of my kids (who got sick overnight, of course) to be seen with him, as well! Wonderful staff!

I placed an online appt with the help of a nurse. Arrived 15 minutes early. Filled out paperwork and paid copay. I was called to the back office shortly after with Will. All of my interactions were very positive. I received care in a timely manner with no waiting. All of the staff were friendly and kind. I would return to this location even though I live 20 minutes away. Thank you!

We checked in at 1: 30 pm and after waiting in the lobby for almost an hour, we were shown to a room where we have been waiting for another 40 mins. Wait times are unacceptable for an urgent care. Please seek out another place for your urgent care needs.

While the wait times are decent and the medical personnel are professional, the billing and whoever inputs the insurance are absolutely horrible. Every single time we use Banner they create a new insurance for us (as in, we fill out the paperwork, give them our insurance card-which they run through their machine and copy, the receptionist will verbally ask about the insurance.and then the correct insurance never gets billed). Hours are spent on the phone trying to correct the issues. I have even gotten copies of my bill and filed them myself because no one on Banner's end will correct the problem. Our most recent visit, they filed my minor as the "policyholder" and a random insurance company name down for the insurance. If this were a one time event, it would be forgiven, but this literally happens every single time we go to any Banner facility! We try to avoid using Banner doctors or urgent cares as much as possible because Banner's billing is so incompetent. Why do they copy my insurance card if they never actually look at it and use it? Why do they ask to verify the correct insurance if they're going to add a random insurance to our files? It is, without words, the most consistent incompetence I've ever dealt with in any medical practice!

Didnt put all Prescriptions in for the pharmacy, And didn't feel like Everything as far as my sickness was taken seriously and I am still sick still after all medications have been prescribed so.

Appt was cancelled the night before without explanation or offering rebooking in other Banner centers. While patient was waiting for this appt, other centers filled up already. Extremely unthoughtful and unprofessional to cancel appts at short notice, esp for an urgent care clinic. They seem to forget that "Urgent" is the keyword here!

Very patient with my autistic son and caring. Helped make a bad situation as best as it could be. Thank you!

The doctor said she would call in a prescription for a cough medicine, but I guess their computers went down. My husband had to go back and get my antibiotics and steroid prescriptions, but didn’t know about the cough medicine. I guess it’s another sleepless night for me. Other than that, the office staff and doctors are great! ️️

Had an appointment scheduled for a sports physical. Waited over an hour to be seen. Why even have people schedule an appointment if your going to have them wait over an hour. Ridiculously slow service made us miss out on a sports practice that was scheduled an hour and a half after our appointment. No one in the waiting room when we came in and waited alone in the waiting room for 30 mins before waiting another 40 mins in the exam room. Appt was at 3: 40, didn't leave until 5pm

Set an appointment and the walked in early and they were able to see me right away. I had to get a CT scan elsewhere and it seems like they called me as soon as they received them. The only bad thing is I got another call later from another Dr.there saying something different regarding the results. Good, prompt care otherwise.

Very friendly, professional staff. I was seen in a timely manner and was seen with the proper care that I needed.

Quick, friendly and thorough. Would highly recommend, especially since many primary care doctors seem to be booked up and can’t see you when sick.
