First time mom here and I cannot recommend Barrio Babies enough!

Angelica saved my sanity and has been a godsend. I Delivered at TMC on a Friday. Baby had a tongue tie and was unable to latch/nurse. The LC at TMC recommended Angelica. We were able to see Angelica on Sunday morning and she performed a frenectomy. Baby has been gaining weight and eating much better. Angelica is so knowledgeable and gave us additional support, going above and beyond. Providing up to date education on nursing, baby care, mom care, clogged ducts/mastitis, formula supplementation, sleeping, etc…

Her communication is unheard of in medicine- I texted Angelica my follow up questions and she got back to me right away.

As a first time mom, you don’t know what you don’t know. Plus, the internet is full of bad advice and misinformation. Best to go to Angelica the professional. We had 2 follow up visits and feel so much better about nursing and being a new mom.

We saw Angelica and she was amazing! SO HELPFUL and encouraging. She clipped my baby’s tongue tie, gave good direction for breastfeeding, talked about a plan for pumping when I was back to work to maintain supply and did my baby’s first checkup out of the hospital. Angelica is exactly the person new parents and babies need.

As a new father, I am so blessed to have found this place. They went above and beyond, and for once since leaving the hospital I had a little peace of mind.

My baby has jaundice and Angelica was amazing when we could not find no one to test his levels. I would recommend her she is so amazing. She also helped me with my babies tongue tie and giving me some help with breast feeding him.

I delivered my baby at TMC four days ago. We found out shortly after birth that my little boy had a tongue tie. All the staff recommended we go to Barrio babies to meet with Angelica. Our experience was absolutely amazing. Angelica was so kind and informative. She took care of my babies tongue tie and the difference with breastfeeding was noticeable immediately. 10/10 would recommend Barrio babies!

Meeting with Angelica completely changed my breastfeeding journey for the better. Long story short the nurses after I gave birth pushed the use of a shield to breastfeed and 2 months later we still couldn’t wean off of it. I had one visit with Angelica who reassured me there was no reason to use the shield and provided ways to move away from it. Less than 3 full days from our visit and we’ve gone a full 24hrs no shield. If you are having any ounce of second guessing around your breastfeeding journey I highly suggest making a visit to Angelica at Barrio Babies! On top of her amazing insight, her husband was extremely nice and helpful and the establishment was very clean and inviting.

We are so grateful to find Barrio Babies. We used their photo therapy service and we were able to be at home with our new born while going through the therapy. Angelica is so wonderful. She is knowledgeable and very caring. I highly recommend Barrio Babies. We will be coming back to get my daughter’s hearing test.

Angelica is amazing! Not only is she a great health care professional and very knowledgeable about all things babies, I also consider her now a friend. She takes her time to answer any and all questions and we’ve never felt she’s in a rush to get to the next patient. This is what healthcare should look like!

We noticed that our baby had a tongue tie after he was born. Angelica helped us resolve the situation very quickly after we were discharged from the hospital. I cannot say enough how much we appreciate her. They not only provided the service we asked for but also so much value to us as first time parents! If you want someone to treat your kids like their own, this is the place. 10/10 would recommend

Angelica Hibbs with Barrio Babies has been amazing! She has made my breastfeeding journey so much easier and stress free with a prenatal lactation consultation during mid third trimester, as well as follow-up visits to troubleshoot now that baby has been born. She always provides my husband and I, as well as our new baby, with genuine and thoughtful care! We are so grateful for Angelica’s help!

Angelica is truly an angel! I went in with my newborn after we were having issues with breastfeeding. She diagnosed an oversupply immediately and gave me sooo many tips on how to remedy it. She was so validating, warm and knowledgable. Her office is beautiful and welcoming too. I would recommend her to any new mama!

It’s absolutely great experience.great clinic and everything clean and they made you feel so wonderful I brought my baby on weekend, I love her and she accept us and make it happen for my newborn- and she took care of him. I definitely recommend her to everyone, you would be in great hand.she is so nice and she explained everything very nicely, thank you again.

No words to express how much grateful I am to Angelica.she is really a godsend angel. My daughter had issues with slow weight gain, feeding, latching, breastfeeding. No lactation consultants from hospital or even our pediatrician didn't find the issue. I wish I should have come earlier to Angelica. We visited Angelica when my daughter was 3 weeks old, she was the first one to find that my daughter tongue rolled all the way up due to muscle stiffness.we had no idea about that being first time parent. She taught us the stretches to relax the muscle stiffness, how to feed and few important tips and plans. Within a day from that 1st visit, we have seen a significant weight gain as the feeding got improved. We had more visits for breast feeding, Angelica found my baby's posterior tongue tie and she did the procedure with care and love. Now my daughter's feeding got lot better and able to gain weight. Because of Angelica, I am enjoying the wonderfulness of breastfeeding, learned so many things from her.she is very knowledgeable, passionate in what's she doing, very lovable and comfortable to talk with and THE BEST in this field of work. And she always follow up through call to check up on us. The place is very clean and home like feeling whenever we go there and Eric at front desk is super nice and welcoming, very quick in responses. My baby is very happy around Angelica as if she is visiting her Aunty, that much care and love we have seen from Angelica towards our baby. I really wish that Angelica to be my baby's pediatrician. She is really a Gem. I have never seen this much care and assistance from anyone. If you are living in Tucson and having a baby, feel blessed to have Angelica in this town, the moment you know your discharge from hospital, ensure to make appointment with Barrio babies and visit Angelica with your baby. I HIGHLY GREATLY RECOMMEND BARRIO BABIES!

Excellent service, support and attention. Above all, we received warmth and they dedicated quality time to us in each consultation. The place is very clean and nice. Excellent follow-up after consultations. I am very grateful to Angelica.

I’d imagine it’s hard to find a more knowledgeable provider who will genuinely care for your child in such a supportive way. If you’re in Tucson with a newborn, your child’s first appointments absolutely have to take place at Angelica’s Barrio Babies!

Angelica is amazing! My son was having trouble breastfeeding & we found out he had a significant tongue tie. I was discharged from the hospital on a friday & was so happy when we found out Angelica works on the weekends. She was able to correct his tongue tie the very next day. She was so informative and kind. She went beyond & above with checking in on my son and making sure he was recovering well. Would definitely recommend her to all!

Excellence in care! We had an wonderful in-office experience with Angelica Hibbs, FNP-C. She treated our newborn, tongue-tie (ankyloglossia), with great compassion and empathy. She was very responsive to our concern, provided education, and follow up. I would highly recommend Barrio Babies!
