Grocery Store Bashas' reviews
36Went in to get a cake. Tried asking questions and the lady working in the bakery was super rude. So, we went elsewhere.
The store smelled bad. Like spoiled food and bad fish decent selection of stuff but not a lot of good deals. Twice baked potatoes were really small for $2.99 each. Staff was friendly but honestly felt bad they had to work in a stinky store.
This is the best grocery store to buy meat. Nothing beats a good "Basha's burger". They seem to have some different products than the other stores too. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
The employees are very friendly and helpful. Shelves were not full. I went to buy dog food, not much to choose from. The variety was limited and the dog food sparse. They didn't have the brand I usually buy at another grocer. I also ran into issues with Ice Tea. I went to purchase unsweetened and could only find sweetened. The shelves needed to be stocked.
Thank you Bashas for transitioning to a "mask recommended" policy. I'm doing all my shopping at your Ahwatukee location because of this common sense policy.
I used to shop at Fry’s but switched during the lockdown. I couldn’t get anything I needed (meat, eggs, milk, bread) at Fry’s but Basha’s had it all. They gained me as a loyal customer and there’s no turning back. The prices are great, the staff is friendly, and it now feels like home.
When I'm on a side of your I'm not familiar with I can always depends on Basha's to what I need in a place that's easy to find.
Lexi is always so helpful and pleasant. Good to know there are still folks out there who arent just going through the motions and care about their customers
Most fresh foods are spoiled or near spoiled. Lot of bate and switches on products. Poorly staffed so be prepared to sometimes wait up
to ten minutes on lines that are backed up into aisle. I once brought back some rotten meat that wasn't supposed to turn bad for over about a week. They cut the rotten part and handed it back to me. If you want rotten overpriced fruit Bashes is for you.
The pharmacist will have you standing there FOREVER! Will not say a word, will not pick up the phone, just will not care. I stood there waiting and he didn’t even look my way even after trying to get his attention. I eventually just walked away.
I like shopping at Bashas. Always clean and bright in this store. The service desk personnel are always helpful. Thank you.
Produce section is nice but once it comes time to pick some grapes or strawberries they are always going bad or moldy. Meat department always mislabeling their prices and saying that the customer should check the prices to make sure it is correct. Why should I check the prices if I don't even work there! Also, Bashas' are way overpriced and I will be taking my buisness to Sprouts. I don't mind paying more at Sprouts and their produce is always fresh and the meat department labels their meat and chicken correctly.
I love Basha's! This morning I needed donuts and drinks for the office cleaning crew. Lots of variety and definitely fresh. Delicious!
Wouldn't except my money. Didn't check any white people money, yet when I came to pay cashier looking at my bills to the extreme. And wouldn't accept them. They are real lady just didn't like blacks apparently. Won't go back there prejudice people. Ain't gonna begg nobody to take my money.
I like the quality of their foods. Especially the donuts. Too bad the cashier's act as if they are put out by having to check out customers. Maybe self checkout would be better and they can find somewhere else to work
Isaac was so helpfu and also martin in produce brought us the hatch chiles we need i really appreciate Steve the manager for taking care of right away
Irene in the bakery is FABULOUS, professional, friendly, and quite the artist! She made us a dolphin cupcake cake. Loved it! Thanks again, Irene.
A little bit higher priced than Safeway and frys but this location always has better customer service than my other options.
One of the best kept secrets in town!
Almost like shopping at Whole Foods or Sprouts or one of those high-end Gucci Grocery Stores. Only the price is much better And I don't know the quality is just there!
