As the owner of Beginners Edge Sports Training, I want to Thank those who provide helpful reviews and responses. We hope you come to our Brand New Sports Center on Tierra Buena which is now geared for kids or all ages!

Mitch and his team of coaches are fantastic. This is the 2nd year of our kids attending camp at BEST and they love it. The coaches engage with the kids, have a good demeanor and are respectful to all parents at pick up and drop off. I highly recommend this place for all kids.

My 5 year old daughter loves going to sports camp for the half day PM sessions!

I had an issue with a cancellation when my daughter fell ill on a scheduled camp day and could not attend. I appreciated that the program director called me right away to offer a solution.

My child signed up for day camp and came home in tears. As a parent I’m writing this review to be the voice for my child. Even the lady walking her to our car asked if she was ok. Red flag. We signed our child up to be with their friend who was the exact same age (online it states they will be grouped with same age). They ignored her request to be with her friend who is in the same grade. I have never seen my child this upset and I will never be back. I called and asked what happened and they gave me attitude and shrugged their shoulders. Really special operation. I will tell my friends. And I’m assuming the owner will leave an aggressive remark here too, so is that the kind of person you want to entrust your children to?

My daughter is not even 2 and a half and I’ve been search for a place just like this!
I am so happy I found it. Most places won’t take toddler until they are at least 3! I signed her up for soccer and she absolutely loved it had the time of her life! I can’t wait to sign her up for different sports in the future! 10/10 recommend

Reading through the past reviews, I should have noticed the red flags. Anyone having a negative experience is bashed by the owners with a seven paragraph rebuttal, calling them liars and frauds, stating that the review is not correct. That says a lot about this business. Instead of trying so hard to discredit every person who had a negative experience, maybe you should look to see if there is something you could improve on.

My kids (and my friend’s kid) did not like this camp. They attended two sports camps over the summer (alternating), this one and Hi-Five. They consistently gave negative feedback on the coaches at this camp. They said the coaches (and particularly the “coaches in training”) were not nice, often teased the smaller kids and even bullied them. Many of the coaches seem to be college kids who, in my opinion, should not be given authority over smaller kids.

My child's (and several other kids) hats were knocked off from their heads by the coaches, who then took them into a room and held them above their heads and would not give them back. When I went to address this with a manager at the facility, he did not take it seriously (and so yes I knocked his hat off to prove a point - which he was very quick to call an "assault" but didn't seem to think there was a problem with an adult doing it to a child, just inparropriate when an adult did it to an adult).

I’m sure the owner will respond by saying how wonderful and well-trained their coaches are. That was not our experience. It was not just my kids, but also my friend’s kid who consistently gave the same feedback. They had nothing but positive things to say about the coaches at Hi-Five (to which I have no affiliation, just a positive experience).

My child went for a week this past summer and he had the best time. The few staff members I met were very nice, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how much fun he had and how he wanted to go again. We will definitely go again next summer!

This is a fabulous camp for kids and parents, too! They take care of snacks and lunch. The day is filled with enough activities that my kid comes home with information about games and their rules and just enough energy to be exhausted at bedtime.

We’ve also hosted birthday parties here and they make it a breeze.

My son has had so much fun this week at sports camp.he comes home with stories each day of what activities he did, what he ate, and new friends he made and played with. I highly recommend this fun sports camp and we will for sure be re-registering for no-school days and possibly even again later in the summer, for our other kids as well! Thanks for making this a fun and safe environment!

My son had the best time playing soccer at the park and Coach Brandon is AMAZING! He is so great with the kids, had fun ways to teach them new skills and deserves a raise:)

It was amazing with basketball and baseball to Dodgeball and football competitions, it is one of the best sports camps I have ever went to.

We started with Best Sports to socialize our boys (2 & 5 years old) since we live in a rural area (Northern AZ) where the schools/daycare are not open yet since COVID. And this has done wonders for my kids. They absolutely love it here. They honestly look forward to coming every week. Coach Kolby has been amazing and very patient with the kids but also providing structure so that the class isn't a chaotic mess. Started with Best sports in May and will continue. Again, super dope experience.

The classes are amazing! I can see improvement during each and every class, from soccer to basketball the kids skills keep improving. The staff is always so nice and helpful, they always keep the parents in the loops of what’s going on both inside and outside of the class time

We hosted our son’s 5th birthday party at this location. I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful our party went!

We had total of 67 people with kids and adults included and every single one of them enjoyed this venue and activities so much. Our guests were really impressed with how organized the play activities were and how much their kids enjoyed the party. Many of our guests have expressed that they will be contacting B. E. S. T.in future for their own kid’s birthdays.

We were shocked at how versatile their staff was! We had three staff members assigned to us but they did everything! From entertaining kids, to serving pizza, cake, and drinks that we brought to the venue! They did everything with huge smile on and it was amazingly positive experience! We truly have NEVER had this great experience elsewhere! Additionally, staff even offered to bring all our belongings to our car including all gifts we had received and food that was left over.

What adult guests loved the most was how fun and organized it was for their kids. Additionally, allowing to serve food to adults from outside was like icing on the cake!

We are Thankful to them for this AMAZING experience! Our son loved his celebration and we couldn’t have made better decision to host a party with them, especially since we recently had a new born and didn’t really have time or energy to entertain everyone!

Please know that they have amazing staff, to do everything they did between three of them is NO WHERE close to an easy job! Entertaining, and serving, and helping parents and cutting Cake and so much more with big smiles on! They truly deserve big kudos!

A great way to start kids in sports and have fun doing it. You can see that the kids learn things even in first class and then the coaches add on to it in the next. Learning and appreciating sports the fun way

Awesome company with a great staff! There are so many games and activities that BEST provides for young kids that make them excited about sports and playing with their friends. The owner and the coaches do a great job at making challenging the kids while keeping it fun and enjoyable! Great program to introduce kids to new sports learn new skills, and the kids will go home EXHAUSTED! (Which is a huge plus)
