REALLY BAD PRODUCTS We were sold spoiled rotten yams, as soon as we cut into it, it was just black and rotten (totally unedible) the owner of the store most likely knew about it and still sold it to customers.

If I could rate this place -0 I will do it. I went in happily greeted but I was answer coldly. Didnt pay much attention to this. I just left the store almost beatenup and Threaten to call police on me by the lady in the store. I am not sure if she is the owner but I met her her husband and a gentle man there who attended to me. I traveled all the way from tucson to this store to get food store. Upon getting there, i went to buy things, when it was time to pay for things, they told me the price of vitamalt. I said to the gentle man that it was expensive.he smiled and encourage me to buy it but The woman replied that dont I work? I answer that I worked so it shouldn't not be to expensive for me she said or maybe I should go home and d cook my money if her stuff is expensive so I kept quiet immediately to avoid trouble. When I left, got one of the plaintaun chip, it tasted funny. I looked at the wrap it was an expired product from August, so I went to return it. My God! It was the biggest mistake I made, this woman started insulting, cursing and calling me names. I told her that she needs Jesus and God will have mercy on her. Then she said I was a fake Christian. I thought about how evil she was and I decided to return everything I bought from her. That again blew things up. Sadly enough the husband joined her to insult me saying I have no degree nor education and he has been in american for 30 years he has never seen someone like me
. I was dumbfounded at the level of exposure of the both of them. I tried explaining things to the husband who walked into the midst of the incident he would not listen and surprisingly his wife was yelling at home to be quiet. That is not typical of a Nigerian to talk down on her husband in public. Husband too kept quiet. Then I knew this was unsafe situation for me. As soon as I was given my money I ran out the shop not looking back. Please beware of your visit to this store. It is not a safe place you might be consuming expired product and both husband and wife are not customer friendly and they dont have the customer relationship skill to contcont in business. Every one that rated them 4 are either hired to do this or didnt have an encounter the day they visited the shop. Even the set up I poor orientation but we will leave that to another day. Please if you have to absolutely visit here pray and put on your garment of patience before you go. Thanks. This is my worst experience in America. I will never forget today. Remain blessed.

Best African Market in Phoenix Arizona. Owners and Crew are the Best and Products are Top of The Line.

I would rate this a zero if I could. The owner of this store is extremely rude and has absolutely no idea what customer service entails. We got yelled at and had insults hurled at us simply because we tried to return a product. Never going back over there again.

This African store is superb. It has all my favorite foods and spices. Prices are good and have been the same for years. I appreciate that. The store is clean, only it doesn't have a restroom for the public. Probably not an issue. Owners are very cordial. I surely recommend.

The typical womanizing egotistical african female and male that run this store are rude to you if your not from africa and will let you feel the wrath of their hate when you walk through the door. The man that runs this store jyst shoved a basket into my hip and shoved it and could not wait until I was done paying for my purchase. Go to another place if you are a lady that looks like me.

Poor customer service. We were not greeted, but later warmed up to us. They have variety of African food stuffs. Well stocked but expensive.
