Best Buy sold new Alienware X14 with one year warranty. CPU fan and Intel WiFi Adapter failed within two months. Followed instructions for resetting computer and drivers which only temporarily solved problem. Finally called customer service to return. Customer service said we could not return, but could trade-in for working unit and pay difference. Best Buy store refused to honor customer service representation. Instead insisted that we send into manufacturer for repairs. This is a computer for an engineering college student who cannot afford to go without. Best Buy's managers solution - Buy another laptop from Best Buy while defective computer from Best Buy is being repaired. They've already lied to us and sold us a defective computer, but the expect us to buy another expensive laptop from them. No thanks.
I've been doing business with the Best Buy in Scottsdale since 2000. This last trip, I saved nearly $2,000 on a sweet 85" Samsung QN85 4k Smart UHD equipped with a Q800C 5.1.2 CH Atmos Sound Bar. The Geek Squad came yesterday to do the installation, and today I'm watching some college football. Great TV, great store.
This review is for the sales associate in PC section, Lauren. My wife and I were in need of a new gaming computer and Lauren was beyond helpful and her customer service was outstanding. She answered all of our questions and helped us find exactly what we were looking for based on our budget and my wife’s requirements regarding the PC. Lauren is very knowledgeable at her job and has great customer service skills.
They only the subwofer I wanted so I drove 25min to this location. Very fast and friendly. No wait.
Went to Best Buy after I was told they sell and install phone screen protectors which come with a guarantee. I've gotten mine replaced a few times at no cost due to damage, no questions asked (just make sure you have your receipt). Today, Reid helped me, fantastic, fast service. Thank you, Best Buy Team!
Don't even bother calling the number. You can't talk to someone in the store, it sends you to a call center in India where you will be on hold for half an hour and no one will be able to answer any questions.
Classic bait and switch.
Install can happen on 8/30 before you pay. Once they get your credit card, whoops, install can't happen until 10/30. TWO MONTHS LATER. I'm told the receiver isn't available until then. In reality, it will be there tomorrow. If I wasn't so upset, this would be funny.
And this is for a $7k order. Imagine what they will do to you. STAY AWAY!

The manager on duty today Ana (12/08/23), is a very unprofessional person. We stopped by to get help with product being shipping to us broken. No exchange, or credit was provided. She wasn’t able to clearly see how and when was the purchase made. We had to leave the product at the store, basically paid for the product and ended up leaving with nothing. We will be in touch with the corporate office to get help, and to bring up how unprofessionally/rude Ana handled our situation.
