Best Western Cottonwood Inn

The management, Christine Carrillo, is grossly incompetent. This hotel is disgusting and sketchy to begin with, but management desperately needs to be replaced. Christine is rude and condescending, and chooses to respond to Facebook reviews on her business with her own personal account. EXTREMELY unprofessional, she clearly has no idea what she’s doing. Save your money until Christine is gone.

Clean room with comfortable beds, as well as a desk, small fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. The free breakfast was a great perk! There are coin operated washers / dryers on site. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a fabulous mexican restaurant and a Starbucks in close proximity.

This is a very old hotel. The grounds were nicely manicured. They do have a large number of rooms to offer. We were able to get a room with a patio outside. Front desk staff were super nice. Cinnamon bun flavored waffles for breakfast were different. Fake orange and apple juice though was not enjoyable.

3 stars because of not made up room after talking to front desk about it in the morning, we were gone all day. Bed is very hard, good. Not sure it was worth the price of the room.

People at front desk were nice and gave us good info about best restaurants to eat. Room was good and appeared to be clean. They were quite busy. We were satisfied. 2 queen beds was $165 minus senior discount.

Reviews noted it had been recently renovated but we could not see anything to suggest that was true. They did provide a good breakfast buffet but the room where we stayed had the old popcorn ceiling from the 1980's with the door opening to the cold outside. The decorations might have been recently changed but the rooms were dark, the bathroom very small, and the HVAC very noisy. While the rooms are no smoking, we found our neighbor and others smoking outside their rooms with the doors open. Thus our room and others were getting smoke inside each time we opened our door. Finally, they had the strangest pillows. They were miniature sized, maybe half the size of a standard pillow and extremely soft. We tried to put two pillows together to make one but that didn't work.

Such a fun area to play. Nice pool area, covered parking lot for solar panels, restaurant on the premises, and walking distance to so many more!

The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave and single serve Keurig to make snacks and drinks. The breakfasts had a great variety to choose from and start the day right. The location was nearby trails and shopping, we found all we needed without going out of our way. The pool and hot tub were ready to go, but we did not try them out. We didn't use the laundry either. Overall, it was convenient and the amenities Great, definitely a 3 star hotel.

First time in many years I regret staying at BW. Overall everything was average, except our room was right by a prior scheduled construction/maintenance work site. Since around 6am the workers were by our window talking loud and the actual drilling, cutting, banging noise started around 7: 45am. The manager Ms. Christine Carrillo didn't acknowledge anything major being wrong with the situation. Without explanation, concern just offered 20% off and asked me to leave the property, because I got upset and told her that her offer and her customer care is unacceptable.

The staff here is great! The rooms are outdated, but clean and functional. The breakfast is great, and if you can, stay in the Casitas. It's worth it.

Family of four. Got a suite, king and queen beds, two rooms. Clean and comfortable.
Positives: . Great staff including Doug on evening shift. The morning manager also super helpful. Excellent breakfast. Cook staff engaging and very helpful, especially with one gluten free family member. The suite room was perfect for family of four.
Negatives: . Pool and hot tub both closed (off season?). But after two days of hiking Grand Canyon, wish we could have known. Concrete construction work stared 7: 45 Monday morning. All good, we needed to get going. Would rather wake up to something other than a hammer drill! Exterior entrances.

The positives far outweighed any negatives. Great spot to stay if hiking the Sedona area.

I also recommend the Mexican restaurant right out the front of the hotel.

My one night stay at BW was primarily due to the fact that I had a very early doctor's appt.the next morning and didn't want to drive from Prescott. When I arrived, I was told my room was on the 2nd floor and I am not able to climb stairs. The girl at the front desk was very sweet and gave me a pet friendly room on the first floor for no extra charge, and she assured me that if there was a pet odor, that she would find me something else, but that was not necessary. The room was spotless, quiet and it gave me the night of quiet I needed. If not for that, there would have been no way I would have been able to climb the stairs because there's no elevator. The breakfast looked good the following morning, but due to my appt. I was not able to eat. When my next early appt.comes up, I will definitely return to BW. The staff was very polite, friendly, and went out of their way to help me. Thanks to all at BW in Cottonwood.

The rooms are average priced and are clean. The office help are wonderful and very helpful. I would recomend this place to anyone. Very nice place to rest your head in comfort.

The hotel is off a main rd so there is traffic noise and also the garbage dumpsters were being emptied at 4: 00 a.m which was very loud. Terrible cable and remote service. Outdated.

Great stay for the night. Good breakfast options compared to what we have been seeing in our other places we are staying. Good sleep and relaxation. No on site gym or pool right now hut a gym nearby.

The room was clean but outdated. Refrigerator not cold, just cool with adjuster of the temperature broken. The administration neglected to mention on the website that the pool is under construction. Overall, extremely overpriced. The front desk people, however, were very nice and helpful.
