Bici-Mundo Bicycle Sales & Service reviews
8 Super disappointed.
Brought in a bike that we had just bought from them, whose back wheel kept going flat, and after looking at it, he told us that he'd put in a brand new tube, and charged us for that and labor- which felt steep considering it probably took him 10 mins to change the tube. Had a friend who knows bikes take a look at it a few days later when it went flat again, and it was a tube with four patches on it already. So they either sold us a bike with a very patched tube, or he deliberately put that one in when we brought it in for service. Either way, lame business practice. Such a shame because I used to love coming here in the 2010's.
Serenity for my 3 wheeled cruiser. Super fair. Kept me in the loop thru out. Super friendly!
I just bought an 80's Schwinn here for a reasonable price. It's in excellent working condition and Susan put a lot of care into getting it setup just the way I wanted. Thanks guys.
Fixed 2 of my bikes, same day, $25! Great place to get an inexpensive used bike or pretty much any components or parts.
Picking out a bike at Bici-Mundo was a wonderful experience! They helped me find the right bike then they fine tuned it and spruced it up before I took it home. This place has tons of bikes to choose from and expert employees.
Got the bike tuned up for a reasonable price, but you get what you pay for.
After the tune my discs were still rubbing, so took it back.a day later they told me they couldn't fix it.how many bikes still squeak after a tune up? Besides the relatively insignificant noise, I would think a bike shop could reduce, or eliminate, the significant amount of friction still present to stop a free spinning wheel.
Best part: when I got home I lifted my bike off the ground, only to witness the back tire falling off the bike.the quick release on the wheel hadn't even been tightened down.too many red flags to go back.
Ask Elson to tell the story of the boy who stole his town bike (that had a 2x4 clamped to the top tube for balancing parcels). And how he dealt with that boy. It's inspired me for 45 years.
