Big 5 Sporting Goods, Mesa AZ

Buy my heavy bag and gloves today, gr8 customer friendly service, helped me load it into my truck, highly recommend this particular store.

They always have really good sales and the selection of goods is amazing. If I find something that I want that I don't have enough for, more than likely I can find a cheaper item whose quality is very similar and most of the time I'll finish up my sale with something that usually goes for a lot of money but that day is on sale for super cheap. I tell friends about them all the time

I have purchased several items, great selection of sporting goods. Prices are reasonable and they do have a lot of great sales on items.

The staff here have always been nice to us and the selection is decent. The biggest issue is the pricing, which is 10-20 percent worse than Amazon, in my experience. Great for things you want to feel before you buy, but I wouldn't stock up on commodity items here.

Big 5 was very busy but the help was fantastic. Both in the shoe dept and the knife counter. Prices were very good.

For a smaller sporting goods store they had a lot of variety. Went for a life vest on the way to the lake and was impressed with the options. Will return for sure.

This place had EVERYTHING we needed for tubing down the Salt River, at reasonable prices. Great place to shop if you need tubes and inflatables, hats, water toys, etc. Lots of other items too!

Said they had the cleats I needed. Went to another store to pick them up.oh so sorry we dont have those youd have to go all the 2ay into Phoenix. Big 5 is ok, but I seem to have this issue often.

After Sports Authority went bust this place has risen to be the best alternative. Not a lot of stock but just about anything you'd need.

We had a pair of running shoes that failed just after 30 days. This store did not hesitate to stand behind them. We purchased another pair with confidence that if anything goes wrong they will take care of us.

The prices are excellent!

Looking for an item, two staff people helped me. Price seemed reasonable. Completely satisfied.

I've purchased several firearms here, all of which wee very CA legal and quite broing but service was great. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they are also fluent in English which is nice.

Easily the best location for Big 5 around. The management is friendly, helpful and genuine to their customers. They tend to remember your name and always will find a way to resolve any issue quickly and efficiently. I recommend this Big 5 over others due to their organized store and helpful staff. Frank does a great job at maintaining his store.

I love this Big 5 they let you fill up the tubes and you bought from Big 5 before you go to Salt Lake River they are just so kind and courteous and they were so helpful!

I didn't know the opening hours.to begin with but.found out they open way later then I was there. But they do have the open sign up.round of applause. Your not open

Good prices and a decent selection of shoes and gear. One star off because the guy helping us with shoes kept disappearing even though we were the only group in the shoe area. Added a star because everyone else was helpful and courteous.

Great place to find most all kinds of sporting goods. We were not looking for anything in particular, but we found a couple things that were on clearance. The prices are fair. Great selection and friendly staff. If we lived closer, we would be frequenting this established more often.

I went into the Big 5 Sporting Goods store this morning, Tues. Jan. 23 and a salesclerk named Samantha helped me. She was one of the kindest and most knowledgeable salesclerks I have had in awhile. The store was slightly busy and I know how that is when you work with the public. She was still patient and I never felt rushed. In our world today where many people just don't care or are rude, it was a pleasure to shop in that store with such nice employees. The other sales clerk was helping some of there other customers and she was very nice and knowledgeable also but I did not get her name.

Best place for athletic shoes, plenty of selection and good prices. Catch the sales and save.

Employee I dealt with (it was only one) didn't seem too thrilled to be helping me with shoes and the store wasn't really that busy. Otherwise the store was very clean and well stocked. The rest of the staff seemed very friendly.
