Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge reviews
18Well taken care of, A great place to fish and see the wildlife. Restrooms and washing stations. A great place for a little hike.
This place is beautiful. The river with the magnificent lava mountains back drop is stunning. The view is breath taking. If you have the opportunity, you need to stop and enjoy the beauty of God's creation. This is a must stop on your way to Lake Havasu.
A random find and stop just before the Hoover Dam.
One of the most beautiful, serene, and tranquil places I've ever been in my whole life. It was a bit warm mind at nearly 42 celcius when we stopped which limited our time there!
We love the quiet solitude of this place. Foliage has small identifying signs so you know what things are. Very clean vault restrooms. Nice view of the river.
Wild Fire has reduced the parks trees and making it difficult to hike and view birds. A dissapointment and will take a few years to come back.
Great kayaking down the river into Bill Williams. Saw lots of birds, ducks, herons and even a couple of turtles!
Very nicely kept area for wildlife viewing, either educational information. The pit toilet were very nicely kept and clean. A perfect roadside stop.
Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to visit near Lake Havasu City. There is a short trail near the visitor center with picnic areas, fishing docks, and views of Lake Havasu and the surrounding landscape. There is also a dirt road down the road that goes a few miles along the wetland area of the refuge. There was a recent fire in the wetlands however that burnt down a majority of the trees, but it still unique scenery.
That is such a beautiful place. Well taken care of and stays true with nature around it. Will be back soon.
Beautiful scenery. Take your time going down Planet Ranch rd, it is bumpy, also it is closed after 3 miles.
Love this place, it's absolutely Beautiful!
I always park my Harley on the Parker side of the bridge, and reflect, say a prayer for my Dad. It was his favorite place?
We spent the morning kayaking through the tall grasses and out around the long observation spit. There are no launch fees, and it was very quiet and peaceful.
This place is very nice.
Has many lights for night time walks
Many places to have lunch.
Definitely a beautiful place to go and enjoy the out doors and sunsets.
Quiet, peaceful, porta potties because of covid with handwashing stand. Great fishing piers.
Dare to go the extra mile for a stunning view of the Bill Williams River. Plentiful wildlife, bushes, trees and flowers. Great workout for the legs as the trail heads up and down hill. Totally worth the walk. Pet friendly. They have doo doo bags at the end of the cement walk (on the right) Always remember to clean up after your pet. Along the way there are several fishing stations as well as information boards explaining the habitat. Simply beautiful.
Handicap accessible, well paved lots of places to rest. Bring your lunch, fishing pole, kayak, canoe for a fun time. Very well maintained.
It's was nice fishing we didn't catch anything though but had great time with the family.
Wow! The wall on the peninsula is nice, but what amazing is the drive out Planet Ranch road. Park at the lot 3 miles in and wonder at the Fremont Cottonwoods.
