Bill's Pizza reviews
21I liked it. The dough/crust was my favorite part. Tried a few different slices with the family and had one of the salads. It was fairly expensive and, honestly, the service was really slow. My kids (6 & 7) made comments about the service before I did. They kept asking when they could get their drink refilled. I'll try again, I'm sure, just hope someone else is buying next time.
My friends and I tried the Elton John pizza. It was tasty! Wish I'd thought to take a photo. It's a cash and debit card only place, and there is a small charge for using debit. Still, absolutely worth coming to. I noticed that if you're there on Mondays, they have cheap drink specials. One 18" pizza can easily feed four people.
The waitress and I recreated one of my husband's favorite pizzas from our favorite pizzeria in Tucson - No Anchovies. It's a Chicken Parmesan Pizza! And it was wonderful! Such nice people and such good food!
Bill’s Pizza is an excellent dining experience that offers a wide variety of flavorful, brick oven-baked pizzas and local brews on the menu, a down-to-earth interior, and an ideal location in the heart of downtown Prescott’s square. With items such as the “Charlie Sheen” or the “Mudshark Havablue”, and with such an ideal location and welcoming, casual interior, you will surely be impressed with Bill’s Pizza.
From build-your-own to the classics to new, unique flavors, Bill’s Pizza consistently delivers quality and exquisite tastes. To back up that claim, I read a review on Yelp from Jason D.that said “Really good pizza.it’s nice when you take a bite of a slice and it’s better than you expect. ” (Bill’s Pizza, rev of.) Popular pizzas on the menu include “build-your-own" and the “Elton John”, which is a pizza with garlic infused olive oil, topped with mozzarella, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, cooked spinach, red onions, and a feta and four cheese blend. Another popular pizza on the menu that I have tried myself is called the “Charlie Sheen”. It’s a pizza topped with mozzarella and a variety of meats including salami, chorizo, and pepperoni, just to name a few of the many. It’s served with their signature “Tiger Sauce” which is an Asian-inspired sauce with a hint of chili pepper heat to it. They also serve a variety of fresh salads. They’re not only known for their excellent pizzas, but also their wide variety of tasty local brews. I’m not personally old enough to drink but from what close friends and family have said, Bill’s has an excellent selection. What they serve is seasonal, but a popular one is known as the “Mudshark Havablue”. They also serve different Italian wines and the more common beers, as well.
Bill’s Pizza is a pizza parlor that has a down-to-earth, casual pizza parlor feeling to it. The vibes one gets when seated inside is a warm, relaxed, but fun feeling. According to Aspen G.on Yelp, she says “. I really enjoyed this fun, casual pizza place. ” (Bill’s Pizza, rev of.) Something great that I think Bill’s does is they display local art on their walls and sell them as well. I think it’s an excellent way to be involved with the community, and it's part of why I think it’s such a popular place among all the locals. Although I recommend Bill’s for the flavors, it’s not an ideal place for large parties. Seating inside is limited, and they don’t have the tables to seat big parties. An alternative to dining in is ordering to-go. You can always take it home, or even walk across the street and enjoy it in the Downtown Square.
Downtown Prescott is the ideal location for a pizza place such as Bill’s. Pizza is a popular food among any crowd. But with a mixture of excellent pizzas, a variety of flavorful brews, and the support of local art, and a historic, beautiful location, Bill’s is more than just a crowd pleaser. The Historic District of Downtown Prescott contains a variety of things to do once you are done enjoying your slice of pizza at Bill’s. According to the website TripAdvisor, “Many of Prescott's buildings that are listed in the National Register of Historic Places are located downtown. ” Some notable places in the area are Whiskey Row, which as a series of saloons and bars and restaurants, the Courthouse Square, and Matt‘s Saloon, which has been a part of Whiskey Row since around 1960.
In conclusion, I believe Bill’s Pizza to be an excellent dining experience, with great flavors and a welcoming interior and a great location. Even though the area has limited parking and is fairly busy, I still consider Bill’s Pizza to be worth it all and one of the best flavors of the Downtown Prescott area.
Enjoyed our custom pizza. Like the 4 item and 7 item pricing on the customs. Great beer choices also.
Surprisingly the late night food options in Prescott are limited, Bill's is your relief. Grab a pizza and enjoy some brews to keep the partay going.
A little too pricey, but worth a weekly visit. Everything is always fresh, hot n tasty! One of the best go to pizza places in town.
Friendly courtesy and our knowledgeable server made our visit to Bill's Pizza very enjoyable. Like many places in Prescott Bill's has a home town feel, and the food is great. I am glad we stopped here, and will return.
Pizza was very good but did not like that they charge for ranch and other sauces considering the pizza is already a little pricey. Bathroom needs renovation and improvements. Like most eateries, it is an after thought here. The details is what makes any place 5 stars. This place has really good pizza so for that alone, 4 stars.
Great pizza with a crispy crust. They do not skimp on toppings. Beware that they do not accept credit cards and charge an extra 50 cents for a debit card.
Great food, nice people and a good variety of pizzas. Also by the slice! Try "Bill's sauce"
They don't staff appropriately to keep up with the demand. A poorly managed restaurant where you pay $20 for a pizza to take over an hour to cook
The reality is your inability to properly project your staff isn't your customers problem.
I would say this is a good place for a quick slice, not the best pizza around in my opinion but certainly not the worst either.
Pretty good pizza. Just watch out they automatically add gratuity at 18% for your party if it is 6 or more people. They charged our party of 5 and a 8 month baby as a party of 6. I asked them to remove the auto gratuity and the waiter kindly did so. Overall nice service.
I was here two years ago. It was so good, it was the first place I visited upon arriving in Prescott.
Great storefront and atmosphere, really small, so if you're coming in a group call in advance. The pizza wasn't for me but I can see why people like it. The staff was generally well mannered and respectful, and are very helpful catering to your needs with toppings or gluten free options if that's your style.
Great pizza good staff and right across from the square, so great view. They have a pinapple cider there that is o, e of the best ciders I have had.a slice is great but if you order a fresh pizza you will not be disappointed
OMG! The very best pizza ever! My cousins came up from Phoenix and we went to Bills today it's like a party in your mouth! The service was great our server was the best and we will be going back often.
Best Pizza in Arizona! My husbacnd and I drive to Precott to eat here every once and awhile. Definately worth the drive!
I love the pizza here so much and I'm not even a big pizza fan! They have a unique selection of toppings and the crust flavor and density is perfect. I also like that they offer pizza by the slice for those with limited time. Truly a must if you are visiting Prescott.
