What a team. They are extremely responsive and take emergencies seriously. I couldn't recommend them more!

In one of the most difficult moments of my life, Bio-One came through for me and my family. Christine has been with me for everything in this process, including handling a very tough insurance adjuster so I didn't have to. I had some tough questions, and while she hesitated, Christine was still willing to be open and honest with me. My loved one's home and possessions were handled in a discreet and compassionate manner. I hope I never have to hire them again, but if I do, my only choice is Bio-One.

The staff of Bio One were incredibly helpful, kind, and compassionate in the aftermath of my mother's death. I was suddenly trying to handle both a biohazard and hoarding cleanup without much support until I reached out to Bio One, and they were absolute sanity-savers. Their staff are even now going to bat for me with the home owner's insurance! I'm so grateful for their hard work and gracious attitudes!

I used the services of Bio-One to remove a large amount of clutter from my home. My wife, before she passed, was a world class "packrat. " Three quarters of our home was waist-deep in clutter.

The Bio-One crew arrived on time and got right to work. They were courteous, friendly and thorough. They were very sensitive to my individual situation and needs. They removed a large amount of clutter in a relatively short time, but they all were conscientious enough to locate potentially valuable items and promptly turn them in to me. The crew finished up by vacuuming the entire house, dusting and cleaning all the surfaces, and sanitizing the kitchen and bathrooms. The result exceeded all my expectations.

Bio-One's high-quality services were the right choice for me in a time of great loss. Should the need arise again, I would not hesitate to call Bio-One, and I would whole-heartedly recommend Bio-One to anyone who inquires about this type of service.

Hello, I had the need for a Bio-Hazard company. I researched and found Bio-One of Tucson-EXCELLENT company. I spoke with Christine on the phone, explained my needs, I met with Jessica at the location. Jessica contacted me prior to the meeting, explained to me the "procedures" involved. Jessica arrived prior to me, this is a welcomed change of events. Jessica was thorough with here taking of pictures, she wore safety booties and a mask. I asked for some too. She offered to go inside alone and I could wait outside. I accepted this very kind offer. As I waited she asked what I needed to be removed if anything. I gave her my opinion. Once outside after she removed her safety items we continued to talk about options. I received an email within 2 hours of meeting Jessica. All itemized & detailed a place for me to add any further items or questions. Once approved she was able to get me an appointment the very next day!
Ernesto ands Kyrie arrived exactly on time. They are both polite, professional and extremely kind.they WORKED all day and did an amazingly excellent job! Once completed they contacted me to walk through and give my opinion-which I was at a loss for words! The place was night and day different. They made the place look like there was NEVER an issue to begin with.

This review contains both positive and negative feedback from our family's experience with Bio-One, and certainly after the company has responded to our review, we remain hopeful that things will be better at another time.

Original post:
Beginning interactions with the company went well. Good and prompt communication via phone, text and email in order to get an appointment for an estimate and then an appointment for actual cleaning to be done. Very professional folks on the phone and in person. Non-judgmental, understanding, kind attitudes from each and every one.
When a plain, unmarked box truck showed up on cleaning day, we were happy not to broadcast to the neighbors that we had a nasty situation that required professional help beyond what a traditional maid service could handle. This was great.

So what went wrong?
For starters, that truck was empty. No special equipment, no vacuums, no hazmat suits or even face masks to protect workers. They had one filthy mop and bucket and one tiny, dirty broom with no dustpan. They also had some disinfectant chemical and heavy duty orange cleaning gloves. That's it.
Here's the deal, we needed two rooms of a residence cleaned from ceiling to floor: walls, doors, doorframes, knobs, baseboards scrubbed and disinfected. We were quoted that it would take approximately 4 hours to complete. The two able bodied souls that arrived went to work with their limited gear, but barely made any difference at all, except that we could smell the disinfectant. Here is the kicker, however: the guys worked less than 2 hours and then suddenly! They said they had to leave and go do something else. We weren't happy and contacted the office. They took $50 off the invoice, but the job was not complete in any way. In fact, I spent 3 additional hours vacuuming, rinsing, mopping, and re-rinsing the walls and floors because they were more filthy when the workers left than when they arrived! Then I took paper towels and vinegar spray to wipe down everything they said they'd cleaned. Oh my, it was not satisfactory at all. See photos.

So what did we expect Bio-One to do? We had expected them to use scrub brushes, maybe a shop vac for cleaning dust and debris, maybe a steamer to remove crud from walls and floors. We expected the full time and results we were promised. They did not achieve anything close to that. If they didn't want to do the job, they should have said so at the outset, not over promise and under deliver.
Now, would we use this company again? We might, but only if they could promise specifically in writing, not just verbally, what they would do and provide. After all, their easy going attitudes allayed our fears of hiring them enough to allow them the opportunity to help in the first place. So maybe we would. Maybe.

Quick response in a time of desperate need and unfamiliar territory. Very compassionate to our situation and need. Walked us thru very patiently the insurance claim and did the right thing for me and my family. I would recommend. Thank you David.
