7Decent campsite but it gets loud with side by sides and dirt bikes everywhere. Our site 12 was also on the hillside so it was not flat.
Beautiful area! I’m newer to camping, but this area is nice. Bathrooms were close to campsite #3, water is available. The pines aren’t super dense, and it was a bit loud with the four wheelers and such. Decent spot for a quick weekend!
Chick and Wendy are wonderful hosts. Camp sites are well maintained and cared for.
I would not go back, because I don't like dirt, and there's nothing but dirt. There were some cool wild horses.

Camp host, Chick, was very nice and kept the campground very clean.
Beautiful camping/hiking spot. Loved seeing the wild horses. Will definitely be back! The weather was perfect this time of year (June) it was a little windy when we were packing up to leave. It was nice that they had wood available at the camp host site we didn’t bring our own because we weren’t sure if we could have a campfire. The camp site host was super nice, attentive and helpful.
This is a really nice off the beaten path campground. It's really quiet in week, but generally fills up on the weekends. The campsites are generally pretty well spaced. The only downside is the lake has been really low.
