Blanco Tacos and Tequilas reviews
19It’s hard finding quality food AND a service in an airport, especially when you’re surrounded by stressed travelers. We had a long layover at PHX and decided to sit down for food and drinks and had a great overall experience. The service was impeccable and everyone was so friendly. Definitely made this long layover experience much better!
This restaurant made my day better. After travel for 9 hours we were tired and starving for good food and we got it. Price is not bad for airport.
Food is basic at best. Super friendly server, but the food is garbage. And they do last call at 7: 00 pm. Seriously? But generally speaking everything at PHX is either closed, broken, or eww.
Having visited several normal locations, this one has sub-quality food. My guess is the HMS operators are skimping on the quality of food and taking shortcuts. The rice tasted strange and the steak wasn’t seasoned. Top this off with food and drink runners that were stretched thin and I would recommend finding another sit down restaurant in another gate area.
Over priced and over rated. I stopped my on a layover on New Years. It was crowed and the foord was yeh. The rice was crunchy and served on a paper plate. Not sure if the ran out, but it did not present well, sine my burrito bowl was like twelve bucks and was just thrown on the plate.
The one thing I did like was how you order. You scan the Q code and place your order. You also got to choose the brand of alcohol.
Delish quesadias!
Who says airport food is not up to Parr?
I know it's not a complicated dish but the ingredients and knowing when to dish it out, spell "great" for this traveler.
Super friendly to food allergies. Great customer service! Manager was phenomenal and our sever was amazing. Food is killer too! Definitely would recommend
Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Little pricy but hey, it's an airport so ok. I did not like the flour tortillas for the fish tacos thought, they were a little hard to bite and tear off, maybe the corn tortillas are better?
The food was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised since it is airport food. You order and pay online so there is minimal contact. There is plexiglass between patrons and the tables were sanitized between customers. The service was speedy. Overall, it was a great experience.
This place is pretty cool. I am really digging this ordering app, it's easy and quick.the employees here definitely hustle, they're constantly moving and taking care of the customers and cleaning. I am actually sitting here as I'm writing this due to a layover. If I ever get the chance again, I will definitely come back here.
Never seen such a cluster. Half the tables were empty, a line of 20 people waiting to get in, and we're seated at a table for 20 min unable to order or get help of any kind. There were plenty of people working, but it was unclear if any of them knew what their roles were. We ended up leaving because it was clear we would miss our flight an hour and half from then.
This tasty hot mess is the only option in the A (2-14 ish gates) area if you would like a drink and you can't get any to go so it forced attrition here if you'd like to survive. Wait on this crazy line and hope you can get what you like im time. It was tasty though and Cadillac margarita is surprisingly good
It’s hard to rate airport restaurants because they’re all overpriced and generally subpar for the price. So I’ll just keep it simple.
The good:
-super fast service. Watched a couple leave a table as we approached and immediately the staff cleaned it at that tableand then came back for us and seated us.
—quick cook time. We ordered the food via the QR code and it arrived in less than 5 minutes.
—social distancing, clean place.
—the breakfast classic came with 4 slical bacon
—the country potatoes were crispy
—English muffin was good; store bought
The not great:
—you order scrambled eggs and they are the powdered kind. Or the carton of liquid egg. Not fresh eggs. I put ketchup on them which I NEVER do to my eggs.
—overpriced. 11$ a meal including those powdered eggs. If you want to add bacon it’s another 2$ (but it is real and more than I expected)
—they serve the food with disposable dishware but the beer came in a glass so I assume they have a kitchen to wash dishes. There’s no reason to use disposable just cause of a pandemic. Soap, hot water and the sanitizer solution all restaurants use for their dishes, are beyond sufficient to cleanse plates of any virus. Just so wasteful.
Over priced airport food is to be expected, their burritos were the only thing we experienced where the cost was even close to fitting. Great servers though, likely to bea stop if at the airport again
Terrible service. Walked up and there was a line. Asked the hostess if I could check the bar, she said yes. All full. Walked the terminal and came back 4 minutes later. Two seats open at the bar. Young man says hold on so he can clean the spot. Original hostess came back and told me to get in line. Make up your mind. She didn't care.
Thought I'd give the airport location a try since the Biltmore location has such amazing food. I was terribly disappointed. The breakfast burrito was ok, but nothing to write home about. The coffee tasted burnt. On the up side, the service was prompt and friendly, and they had electrical receptacles at all the high tops so you can plug stuff in.
It's about as pricy as you would think being in the airport food was good service was friendly but the contact less payment didn't function properly
Food and drinks were good, the whole "use the qr code" so impersonal. Less and less social interaction these days! On a good note, the patrons were friendly and made it so much more enjoyable!
Very busy but the staff worked to clear tables quickly. They don’t really have a full menu, but you can get burritos, salads, and tacos. They have a full bar. Overall, we were satisfied especially given the limited options. If you have a long layover, it’s worth your time to wait in line. Not your cheapest option.
