Boulders On Broadway, Tempe AZ

Recently moved to the area, and wanted to try new and unique restaurants near work! My wife and I found this place, and it seemed similar to a sports bar from our last state, so off we went! But dang does Boulders on Broadway really rise to the occasion! Friendly staff, great beer options (the Alaska Amber Red was sublime!) And delicious homemade food! We will definitely be bringing our work team in for some good atmosphere, attentive workers and fun times!

Was an awesome place to enjoy a great lunch and see a unique place unlike others. Would recommend for a good night out or regular bar or dive or for a good time during or after work.
Will be attending possibly several or many more times as this place serves craft drinks.

While service is friendly and frequent, the food is well below average. Fish was over-fried and stay away from the the shrimp appetizer. Pulled pork was average.

We won’t be back. Patio is dog friendly and the food is decent. Waitress was new and quite forgetful. We asked questions about the menu that she said she was going to ask about, which we never got an answer to. She forgot to bring out drinks we needed refilled even after we asked. Dogs weren’t offered any water. And the biggest reason we will not return is that they charge you a processing fee if you pay by credit card. There are no signs and nothing on the final bill that suggests this. For a hundred dollars bill, it was $5. Very sneaky and not good business!

Best bar in tempe and ive been to just about every bar and love the bartenders bri, erica and justin they are phenomenal

We had a nice group event upstairs but I cannot give a five star rating because our waitress was rude and abrupt. Everybody was having a good time, so she didn't ruin the party, but negative people like her should not work in customer service.

Good beer selection! Food was good, was better then your typical greesey bar food will eat and get drinks again soon!

Amazing beer selection at a good price. Really probably one of the best in the area from what I've seen. Food is pretty much standard bar food, dont go into it with any expectations. I had a calzone and it was edible. Im pretty sure they just get the cheapest ingredients at Frys or something, but I could be wrong. I could taste the can on the cold marinara sauce they served me. Meet tasted like Hormel which was kind of depressing.

Went for the happy hour. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions for food and beer. We were a group of three and sat at the bar. We all could watch the game and talk. It was a little loud but not annoyingly so. I will be back and recommend.

Food was great. Had trouble getting my bill though when I had to get back to work. I let them know right when I got there that I was on a time crunch

Food is tasty, and this place has a happy environment. Nice place to take the family for a bite to eat. Everyone is very welcoming and nice.

Reason behind three stars is not because of service. Our waitress, server was fantastic. It was the food. I ordered the hard day pizza because reading on the menu it sounded delicous.what I got was pure let down. The sausage tasted like hot dogs, the sauce was not zesty, the spicy fried pickles where anything but spicy. I probably will not try again because no matter how awesome the staff is, if the food is bland (like old white people bland type food) I am not going to punish my taste buds.

Always a solid choice for a good draft beer and a burger. Good neighborhood spot. My wife likes to pass out beligerently drunk here.

Go for the beer not the food. This is the second time I have stopped in for lunch with friends. The first time I thought they were having an off day- but then again we waited over an hour for our food to show up and it came out cold and several orders wrong. It's too bad because it's a cool building that would be fun to hang out in.

The pizza was good, but the deep dish seemed like a normal pizza with a higher crust instead of a full deep dish pizza. Next time, I’ll go for the double deep dish.
The atmosphere was fun; we went on trivia night. They have it on Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday night. I would suggest trying out the trivia.

The drinks where amazing and so was the food, I always love it when I come here I recommend it for a nice social gathering or business occasions

Wings were not sauced, food was just barely palatable which is odd because they are almost always on point. Great beer selection just disappointed in this visit.

We had to catch a play and had to eat fast. We told our server, a nice gentlemen in his late twenties (I wish I remembered his name so I could give him credit) to bring the food and bill as fast as possible. He was ruthlessly efficient and exceptionally courteous. I even forgot my eye glasses and he ran outside to bring them to me!

Customer service will either make or break a place and we had excellent service! Thanks buddy (whoever you were!)

Food was great, went with my boyfriend and a friend they made us move tables 3 times and it was annoying.
