Bread & Butter Cafe, Tucson AZ

No frills, all American dinner. I was very clean. Service was fast and friendly. Food came out quickly and was done well. I would eat here again.

On A Lark we stopped by this place on our way back from northern Tucson and read the reviews which were pretty amazing. Upon finding this location we were almost ready to turn back as it did not look like it was going to be As pleasant as we had hoped. However as soon as we walked in we noted the waitresses and the front end staff were smiling and seem to be genuinely happy. We ordered Eggs Benedict Florintine and hot roast beef sandwich. They were actually very good. We were also challenged to try their Apple pie alamode and it was exquisite. I would have no problems advising anyone to eat there with the caveat that it is not fancy you're going there to eat basically really good food for a very reasonable price. The waite staff were extraordinarily nice and we felt right at home

The food is good here, we always go for breakfast, and you can't go wrong. But the cinnamon roll is very, Very, VERY delicious! Make sure you have one to share!

Bread and butter is always a beautiful place to eat. They make you feel like your at home with the environment they set inside. Customer service is 5/5 I strongly recommend this place to anybody and everybody

Big menu of traditional breakfast & lunch items plus amazing fresh baked goods - cinnamon rolls, homemade pies. Crowded, busy, lively.

Enjoy going there. Normal diner food. Good ole American style stuff but done well. Yvette is my favorite server there so far. I'm pretty sure she has magic mind reading powers as she seems to read my wants well. French lace Chocolate pie is pretty good. Not going there if I'm on a diet. Know your weaknesses people!

Husband loves the Spanish omelet. Hash, home fried potatoes were too well done. Eggs were fine. They're was a mixup with the bill but it was taken care of. Staff is very friendly and pretty efficient even through rush times.

I've been coming to this location since my early 20s and it is by far one of the absolute most amazing places to have breakfast at staff always friendly and food so delicious this will get my 5 flags rating for sure,

Got an order for GrubHub the other day i had to wait about a half hour on top of it no utensils were given with the order now what kind of service is that? The people was polite yes but always in a rush as the place is small and always full of people dinning in.pick up orders should be ready by pick up that issue makes us drivers look so bad with customers just my opinion.

3rd time here. Tried the fried cod lunch. Good flavor and crispness. Comes with mashed pot.plus a veggie & roll. Missed the usual Cole slaw that often comes with fish. Previously tried the cobbler as dessert & thoroughly enjoyed it. Prices similar to other Tucson spots.

Went dor lunch rhis time and everything was great. Unfortunately we were too late and most of the pies were gone but that was our fault. Next time.

The Bread & Butter Cafe was a treat this morning for breakfast. The service was the best I’ve experienced for a very long time. The food was tasty and good. We really enjoyed our experience here.

We have NEVER been disappointed when we eat here. The service is always friendly and welcoming, I've NEVER seen an unhappy customer on our many many visits and of course the food is ALWAYS delicious!

This place is always a little busy but it's hearty and tasty homestyle food. There's not anything that's fancy, just simple dishes prepared traditionally with fresh ingredients. The portions are very generous. The small biscuits and gravy plate could be a meal by itself, while the large could feed a small family.

My first time at this location for breakfast, we had the biscuits and gravy with the turkey sausage, the turkey sausage was juicy and Delicious biscuits were piping hot, scrambled eggs were on, so good I forgot to take a picture oops!
Anyway, comfortable and clean atmosphere, staff looked really happy.
Definitely recommend this place as a breakfast nook.

Fluffy eggs - perfectly cooked. Thank you for the delicious breakfast. It was very busy but I didn't feel rushed to eat and leave.
