Bright Angel Lodge, Grand Canyon Village AZ

Perfect location at the South Rim. Terrific old school tavern. Restaurant food is good, and affordable!

I booked a cabin on the rim amd was NOT disappointed! I don't know that I will ever get the opportunity to go again, but this would be my first choice if I did. Views were amazing!

You're paying a lot of money for one thing - easy access to the Grand Canyon. Everything else about the room is average at best. The room was supposed to have a partial view of the Grand canyon. Technically, this was true. But we couldn't really see much from the room. Nonetheless, we could walk out of the room and have a great view. Again, the room is expensive and average. But it excels in the three most important things - location, location, location.

Cozy interior, lovely room set up. Perfect location with walking distance to Bright Angel Trails & South Rims. Definitely my first choice when staying at South Rims of Grand Canyon. #grandcanyon

Cozy lodge with all the amenities that you need to go hiking and freshen up after a long fun day. Very accessible to the connections to the trails. Bathroom was clean with good hot water. Would definitely visit again. Only downside, not much access to food in the area so plan ahead!

Very rarely do I post a negative review but I'm making an exception in this case. We stopped by at 1: 30 at the end of our hike around the rim of the canyon and we were told that if we came back at 4: 30 we could add our name to a wait list.
We arrived at 4: 30 only discover a different host who told us "she" didn't feel like running a wait list because it was "too much work" and that all hosts were free to do what they wanted. All I can say is this is an impressive level of service for a $$$$ establishment.
