Broadway Bat Bridge reviews
5First time seeing the bats.we filmed them as they came out.thousands sunset was beautiful too
Thousands of Mexican free tail bats live under the bridge (1 of 4 bridge's in the Tucson area) from April till October. They migrate to Mexico for the rest of the year. You can watch them leave for breakfast every evening about 10 minutes before sunset. Some days it looks like dark smoke moving slowly across the desert sky! Always pretty cool.
This is a good place to watch the bats, however, they don't make it very easy to get to. There is a bike path, and you can park fairly close at La-Z-Boy but you have to walk on some really uneven ground and rocks to get to the edge of the wash. That's why I deducted a star
Love to watch all the bats take flight at night truly an amazing thing to see
