Builders Wholesale, Prescott AZ

We bought a pellet stove from Builders Wholesale to help warm our house over the winter. Of course, we didn't order it until the winter was here and we were already feeling the cold. Given supply chain issues during Covid, the order lead time for pellet stoves was running at least 4 months (we called around all over AZ and no other stores could deliver before winter would be over).

The good folks at Builders Wholesale had proactively put the order in for the stove we purchased back in May before they had a customer for it. So while we still did need to wait about a month to get the stove, bottom line, we have been able to enjoy the fantastic heat it provides for the majority of this long, snowy Prescott winter! We're thinking about putting in a second pellet stove during an upcoming house remodel and Builders Wholesale is where we'll go to get it.

Got say builders wholesale is the best. People here care about there customers and there workers. Lora and Michelle are the best to talk to bout your fireplace needs. So if you need new fireplace. Stove or windows and doors then builders wholesale is the place to go.

Though it took quite awhile, we were finally able to get our new gas fireplace installed yesterday. Seriously, I can't say enough good things about our Installers Rob and Nick! They were very prompt (in fact early for our installation) and extremely professional! These two gentlemen were very knowledgeable, trustworthy, kind, helpful, and courteous.

I sincerely appreciated the time and effort that they took to educate us about our new gas fireplace, since we've never had one before!

I would highly recommend Builder's Wholesale. It was a real pleasure to go into their showroom, to select our new fireplace! And both Ty and Jerry really took the time to let us know about the differences in all of the fireplace models that they had to offer!

They were very helpful with the specific placement of our unit, and they really took the time, to find the right fireplace that would fit our unique and specific needs.

Sooo disappointed, Jas. Said they could do a solar tube but when the contractor came out he said it couldn't be done. Then they didn't give full deposit back because of the time the contractor spent out there. Get everything in writing

Ty and his group were great to work with. Very helpful figuring out the details. They provide excellent product and know their stuff.

I would not recommend going through this company - and if you do, get everything In writing. They stated they would handle the permits and told us they would get the final inspection but found out no final inspection was completed and we are liable to now pay for an extension and figure out how to get our place inspected on our own. Yavapai County even told us this company generally does this but when I called the company, they said they no longer do this and didn't notify me. This is a big headache and they are unwilling to help out at all.

* update- repeat customer since our experience was so enjoyable. Worked with Ty again and purchased an entry door. His patience and expertise lead us to the perfect door and hardware that fits our needs. 5 stars all around!

Our experience with Builders Wholesale was nothing but the best. Ty was very professional and came to our home to discuss stove options, placement, and cost. The installers laid out the venting runs for us and gave us the options prior to install. Once the install was complete, we were happy to see the cost was cheaper than quoted. We are very happy with our Jotul wood stove!

These guy are great to deal with, they are competitively priced and great on communicating the process. Products were delivered on time and the driver was very helpful

Rob and Nick installed my wood burning stove and did an excellent, and professional job. They also spent an hour afterwards starting a fire and going through everything with. I Amal enjoyed the conversation and they truly are very nice folks. I would recommend them for sure for install or maintenance in future.

Good service, happy with our new interior fireplace stove. Took a bit longer for delivery than hoped for but not surprising in the midst of a cold Prescott winter. Looks and works great.

Travis repaired and adjusted our propane fireplace. His knowledge and ability to fix the fireplace was outstanding. His manner and professionalism was also outstanding.

I used Builders Wholesale for our annual cleaning/repair on our HeatnGlo gas fireplace and was very happy with the service provided. Travis, the gentleman that performed the service, was professional, clean, thorough, and kind. I would highly recommend Builders Wholesale for these services.

The service and professionalism is outstanding. The only downside was that the install date was pushed back 2 times, and the install was 9 months from the purchase (not their fault, but due to materials being stuck in customs). Other than that, everything was excellent. Rob and Danny did an outstanding job on the installation. They were very professional and polite.

Travis was great, timely and very knowledgeable. They even fit me in to a full schedule when my pellet stove wouldn't light, got me up and running before snow was supposed to set in. Great experience, would recommend!

Builders Wholesale did a fantastic job refurbishing our gas fireplace. We called because we had a gas leak at the wall valve. Kyleigh found it and recommended a repair. Next he installed a new gas hearth kit that made a HUGE difference in our fireplace - it's like new again, the flame is easier to control (and safer) and the kit upgrade was affordable and looks great.
