Buttered Up Bakery, Mesa AZ

Unique square croissant sandwich, good balance of crispiness and moisture, nicely layered. We tried BLT & onion brie. Both are very good. The young man who helped us are very friendly. Tasty food and the warmness of this little shop brightened my day! Thank you!

I went here on a whim because I wanted to try something new. It is tucked away but not hard to find, very cute dining area. I got the "Avocado, Egg & Parmesan Croissant" and it was amazing, very unique flavor I haven't tried before, the aioli was very good. I loved how the parm was cooked. We also got the "French Toast Croissant" it was very good but also very sweet, definitely a desert vibe. We were full halfway through, a lot of food for the price. Worth it! I am going again.

I've been looking for Chicago pizza puffs & dying for a kougin aman & this spot delivered! Not official pizza puffs they're better! They're pizza mini pies, pizza inside of a croissant like a hot pocket. This little hidden bakery has a little area to enjoy your food/drinks & the staff's super friendly! Offered opinions which I always ask staff their go-tos or most popular items & they offered it up without asking. We also ordered the chocolate croissan & the Shepard's pie mine pies. I believe you can get the pies frozen to go.

Wow this place is so good. The apt building I live at does breakfast once a month for us residents and this morning it was from Butter Up. First of all, thank you for the variety you sent over! I was so excited when I saw the extensive options (scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and a huge variety of savory and sweet pastries including vegetarian and vegan options). The only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't try them all. The scrambled eggs were made my Jesus himself. I'm not really sure how you guys made them so perfect. The spinach feta croissant, perfection. And the almond croissant.oh my word.with that ridiculous sweet almond filling and the most perfect crunch, sweet but not too sweet.thank you Butter Up for legit making my whole morning. 10/10 will recommend to everyone I know.

Their food is unique, fast, and the employees are very helpful and well.genuinely nice. Yes the food is good at a fair price, but legit kind people are rare to come by these days. So when it comes down equal options for lunch the people at Buttered Up are the tie breaker imo.

A hidden gem! First time visiting was today and I'm definitely coming back. Very delicious and comforting sandwiches.

This place is very good and so cute.the staff is very friendly and gave us a free muffin! I had the croissant french toast, cold brew, and blueberry muffin and it was all delicious.my friends got various breakfast sandwiches as well and they adored them.we’re in town visiting and we’d recommend this to travelers and people who live here:) so good!

OMG the most amazing hidden gem. The staff here is just spot on. The young man the helped us was so polite and informative. The food is to die for. Lol thanks McDonald's for not serving breakfast after 1030.

Generally great. Best deal going for high quality sourdough. Reheated pastries can get a little tough is the only reason for 4 stars. Don't let the location deter you - it's good.

The service was excellent this morning. The young man at the counter was very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back!

FKA Squarz, this place has some of the best croissants I’ve ever had, and fantastic sandwiches too. I’ve tried croissants and pastries from hundreds of places across the world and the chocolate croissants and kouign-amanns are easily in my top five.

Great food at extremely affordable prices! The staff and owner are great! Shout out to Ken who was so kind and helpful. Cinnamon rolls are amazing also! I will definitely be returning!

This place is the greatest Bakery I've ever been too.and I've been to a lot. The owner, so friendly, and the croissants so delicious. If I could give more stars I would. Everyone should eat if here they like good food.
