A wonderful spot to rent a bike. James was a super helpful local full of insight and info on where to ride. Only took about 10 minutes to ride to the trailhead at South mountain. Bikes were in great condition, but be prepared you will need to bring your own tools/tube if you want to be able to do a tire change in the event of a flat as he does not provide you with any of that stuff.

Many thanks… I was 10 miles from home enjoying my bike ride when j got a flat…. I was near cactus adventures… and he fixed my flat even though I had a street bike… I was lucky he had a tube in storage… and I got back home safely… further more there was no charge…. I rented a mountain bike for 5 days, plus 5 more for one day, including an electric. Everything was great! The bikes were really good high end bikes, in good condition. You also get some well needed gear to ride. The location is good with easy access to some great trails. James made my mountain biking a great experience! I recommend them.

Always wanted to ride out in Arizona and finally had my chance during a short trip. I was looking to ride South Mountain, and saw Cactus adventures had convenient rentals at the base of the mountain so I didn't have to try and figure out how to fit in a compact rental car. All the gear needed for intermediate trails was provided with the rental. The trail map was excellent, so I could keep riding without pulling out my phone. The trails on the mountain weren't all marked so this was very helpful for making it to the other side successfully. I would highly recommend this affordable rental service to all levels of riders. I did rent the ebike which made the 4 hour time period maximum enjoyment. Highly reccomend for any individuals traveling to Phoenix with or without you biking gear.

Fantastic! We were visiting for a conference and snuck away for an afternoon ride. Couldn’t have been easier. We showed up and off we went. Highly recommended.

We rented two mountain bikes here and had a great experience. Bikes are in good shape and service was excellent. After getting lost a little, we ended up on the Desert Classic route, which was fun!

If only 10 stars was an option. I mean, what an experience, from signup to the customer experience when I showed up was nothing less than perfect. Safety first…they want you to come back and enjoy riding so they set you up with all the tips and gear you need to go from newbie to repeat customer!

Great experience renting. Gentleman that met us and rented the bikes took the time to make sure we were set up properly and adjusted multiple times and then even rode us over to the trails so we did not get lost as we are not from here. Would definitely reccomend.

James is great to set you up for a good day mountain biking, very well organized and equipped, and he is very cool guy to hang out with. Highly recommended activity as one of the things to do if you are in Chandler and like outdoor sports, he also got E bikes which was way useful at the South Mountain Park

Cactus Adventures did a fantastic job with our electric mountain bike rental. Awesome communication and he had every single thing needed to have a great time. We will definitely rent again when back in town.

Rented a bike for a week. Was a well setup hardtail that allowed me to push my own riding skills. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful as well.

James was delightful and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! He had the bag packed with snacks and ice water. I'm new to the mountain bike world and he was very patient the whole time. Gotta get some more skills and time in the saddle so that next time, we can do more!

Bike was all set up and ready for me when I arrived.

Then he dropped me off at the trail head.

And when I was done, he picked me up (at another trailhead). As I was the sole customer of the day, got the VIP treatment (lift back to the car). Much appreciated as already cooked from the sun.

He also recommended an awesome taco place for lunch. Am digging the food here.

Another thing maybe not known. James is also a biking coach. Will look for him again if I am here. To get my jumping dialed in.

James offers a great MTB tour in Phoenix. He has EVERYTHING you need- helmet, gloves, water, snacks, BIKES and great service. I highly recommend if you want a little extra TLC and instruction on the trails around Phoenix.

Bikes were in great shape, and access to the nearby trails was great. They even provided water and backpack for the ride. Makes riding for the day extremely easy, and since a shuttle isn't needed, you can ride on your schedule!
